"yeah spill!" Michael smiles, excitedly
"oh uh..." i compose my thoughts for a moment "I finished the book" I smile
"really?! Already?!" Anne snatches it up and flips through it "there's still empty pages though"I roll my eyes "yeah but the story is finished, I can't use every page, that's gotta be at least a 500 page journal and my story uses near 250"
"you wrote 250 pages in a couple hours?!" Gavin looks at me in disbelief
"well... more like 24ish hours.." I smile
"so that's why you disappeared all day yesterday, that's intense" Michael raises his eyebrows "your hand must be ripped now"
I laugh and flex my fingers like they were my biceps "I don't know but it sure is sore"
"as a future English professor I have to say your grammar and penmanship is awful" Anne shakes her head as she reads it.
"Hey I was on a roll! I'd like to see you use proper grammar in the first draft" I smack her arm.
"Okay, okay! But it's not as detailed as most your stories either, you barely even describe this werewolf" Anne points and reads aloud "his fur was brown and mangy and had two glowing eyes"
"His fur had eyes?" Michael looks at me teasingly
"Okay, shut up" I grab the book back "it's not gonna be perfect, gosh" I lean back into the pillows of the window seat, sulking.
"Awe come on, it can't be that bad guys" Gavin tries to take the book, but I clutch it to my chest, and stick my tongue out at them.
"I want to read it!" Anne laughs "I'll stop being the grammar police, come on, please"
I shake my head "you had your chance, only Gavin is allowed now" I hand it to him
"yes!" Gavin opens it up
"What'd I do?!" Michael protests
""His fur had eyes?'" I say in a crappy impression, crossing my eyes.
Michael laughs "I don't sound like that" he rolls his eyes and pouts.
"We should see a movie today" Anne says randomly.
"Why is Jacob there?" Michael teases.
Jacob was the newest guy that Anne had her eyes on. He was the epitome of geeks. Shaggy brown hair, huge framed glasses that he somehow pulled off, he was surprisingly handsome for his geekiness, but I guess I shouldn't be bias or hold him to stereotype.
He had seen pretty much every popular and unpopular TV shows and movies, he titles himself a, if i can remember... a "DemiSuperPotterWhoLockian." The way he explained it was, it was a longer version of "SuperWhoLockian" or something. It meant he liked Percy Jackson, Supernatural, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and Sherlock, but if he'd included all his favorite things it'd be much more of a mouthful.
He's also played pretty much every version of every video game and owned about three phones. He couldn't decide which phone he liked better, they all had different features the others didn't have, so he carried all three. The thing Anne was most excited about was, he had her number in all three phones.
"No!" Anne says defensively "I mean... maybe.." she shrugs
I laugh "okay, what movie is he seeing?"
"Star Wars..." Anne smiles shyly.
"Alright, lets go" I stand up
