" Riley!" I hear my mom yell from down stairs. I'm so tired from last night that I don't answer her

" Riley! Wake up it's Lauren's birthday for gods sake!" I open my eyes, shit! It's her birthday! I didn't get her anything.

I jumped up and run down stairs,
" mom!" I say running in circles

" Finally you decided to wake up, help me set up stuff for Lauren's surprise party?" She says putting up balloons.

" yeah sure, but I need to get dressed and go I the store to get her a gift." I look at my mom who is laughing.

" it's fine I got her something from you, it's two new posters of those boys and I got her something she's gonna be so happy!" My mom smiles.

I help my mom set up and she starts cooking when I got get dressed.

I put on my skinny jeans and my chuck Taylor's and a black shirt. I let my brown straight hair as it is and put on a bit of make up.

I start to walk out the door, " mom ill be back."

" okay hurry up she's going to be here in an hour." My mom yells as I run out the door.

I drive to the mall and go into rainbow and by myself some new shorts and shirts and I get Lauren a few shirts and stuff. I pay for it and head home.

When I get home I run up stairs and wrap her gifts and bring them down stairs, some of her friends are here and I hear one of them yell, " she's here!"

We all hide and the door opens and her face lights up as we scream, " Surprise!"

Lauren runs up to my mom and give her a huge hug then walks up to me, " did you help?" She smiled

" yes with some of it." I laugh

" thanks." She hugs me

" no problem, twerp." I say

After a while we eat cake and start opening presents , she gets new clothes blah blah blah, I don't really pay attention to most of the presents.

" here this is from me." My mom smiles , handing her a huge box.

She opens it and looks through it, " there's nothing in it." Lauren says moving the colorful paper tissues around.

" just look, there's something in it." I say and she give me a dirty look

She pulls out and envelope and opens it and screams , " Oh my god! Oh my god! Is this real! " she holds tickets up. And starts crying.

I don't see why she likes them so much, her whole entire room is filled with tons of posters of them, all she talks about is Ashton.

" I get to see my baby! Ashton!" She cries

See, there ya go.

" thank you Soo much! Wait there's two tickets." She says to my mom.

" Yeah cause Riley is going with you." My mom says looking at me.

What! I'm not even a fan..

" okay, that's cool." Lauren says.

" Do I have to go?" I whine.

" Yes cause she needs a ride and I'm not going to see them" she looks at me with a ' don't even start' look..

I don't even know the guys! I've heard them sing and stuff but I don't even know them. I have to go see screaming, crying, sobbing girls all night.

That's not how I want to spend that night.
