7:30 AM

Squinting passed the early morning rays I made out the figure at the end of my drive way of my 'walk to school buddy' Ben. 6' blonde haired, green eyed, Ben. He has a nice face, not one that i am attracted to but it is nice.

Coughing to get his attention, I rolled my eyes as I see him ogling at my legs that are on show thanks to my thigh length black pencil skirt.

"uh-yeah-nice legs" Ben stood up from the wall he was previously leaning against and sent me a wink causing me to roll my eyes again I let him get away with it because I even though 90% of him was it was not all serious.

This is what Ben was like almost everyday and sometime I feel like walking alone but I like the company.

The walk to school was the usual talk about what lessons(classes) we have today, hit Ben in the upper arm every time he hits on me ect ect. Its only a 15 minute walk so not much time has to be passed and we are walking into the gates of hell.. I mean school. Ben, being a year older than myself, had a class in another block of the school so he waited for one of his friends and I walked to my locker ignoring the eyes that are glaring at me from all directions., I keep myself to myself and try keep a low profile apart from Ben and my best friend Jess I try not the keep contact with anyone in this 'school'. Not for another reason apart from I am not a people person.

Brushing off the stares I made it to my locker to dump in my PE kit for me to collect later before that lesson and then I took a minute to check out my hair in the mirror on the back of locker door smoothening my naturally wavy locks I felt the vibration of my phone in my shoulder bag

"I'm coming, I'm coming just wait at your locker" I shut the door to my locker with my hip and walked towards Jess' locker.

"No, I have a doctors appointment so I wont be coming in till around lunch time" I heard Jess say through the speaker

"Oh, alright" I said as I slowed down my pace

"Sorry I totally forgot. You'll be able to cope with out me wont you?" she teased

"I guess sooooo" I dragged the end and lightly chuckled "see you at lunch"

"see you"

I ended the call and carried on making my way to my first lesson of the day, English.

I hated english! ever since last year when we  got a new teacher, he hates me. He is called Mr Yankee but 'Mr Patronising' will do.

As I entered the class room and made my way to my usual seat I noticed someone was sitting there. I wasn't going to make a fuss so I pulled up the seat next to her.

"Hi" she sounded sheepish

"uh hi?"

"I'm new, my names Maddie"

It now made sense why she was sitting in my seat, we didn't have designated seats but everyone had their usual spaces , and why she was talking to me.

"I'm Liddia, so where'd you move from?"

"Central London, I've never been new before always been to the same school since nursery so its really weird."

"Yeah I guess that would we weird"

"I don't know anyone and I'm sorry for dumping all of this on you I just don't know how to talk to new people" she laughed nervously

I gave her a sympathetic smile "Its okay don't worry about it umm" I said slowly contemplating on weather I wanted to say the next few words "I can show you around today if you want?"
