Part 2- Troublemakers

"YOU'RE GOING TO JAMES' PARTY? HAVE YOU COMPLETELY LOST IT?!", Angelica yelled. "He's parties are the best, so I've heard.", I said. "Well yeah but do you know how things end up?! Cops get called.", she explained. "How many have you been too?", I asked. "Three.", she said. "Guess what James said this morning.", I said. "What?" "He said he would date me if I wasn't his sister." "That's disgusting.", she said. I nodded. "He's messed up.", I said. "Explains why he's been to jail.", she said. I laughed. We both went to my house. "Hello, girls.", Mary said. "Hello, Mary.", we said at the same time. "Want any snacks?", she said. We both nodded. "Be ready in five.", she said. We went up to my room. "I'm calling Madison.", Angelica said. Within ten minutes, Madison was over here. "You're not going to James' party. I'm not letting you.", she said. "Hey, it's my life.", I said. "Exactly. I don't want you screwing it up.", she said. "I'm going to get the snacks.", Angelica said going downstairs. We all followed her. "Mary, would it be bad if I went to James' party?", I asked. "No way. You aren't going.", she said. "What? Why?",I asked. 

"Because I said so.", she said. "It's a bad idea.", she said. "That's what we said!", Madison said. "Whatever. Fine.", I said. I stomped back up the stairs. "You're sneaking out, aren't you?", Angelica asked. "Duh.", I said. "At least let me help you decide what to wear.", she said. I smiled. "Thanks.", I said. "Anytime. So lets see here.", she said looking in my closet. She grabbed a sliver, sparkly tank-top and a pair of black skinny jeans. "This is hot.", she said. "I never would've thought you had this.", Madison said. "Shut up.", I said. "Kate can be a total slut.", Angelica said. "Haha very funny.", I said. "Ok so 5 Seconds Of Summer comes into town in a few hours!", Madison said. "I know!", I squealed. "I wanna meet Luke.", she said. "Back off. He's mine.", I said. "Yeah okay. Whatever you say.", Madison said. "Girls, stop fighting.", Angelica said. I crossed my arms. "Not until she apologizes.", I said. She rolled her eyes and said sorry. Madison left after that to get ready for the party. "Kate, you and Luke would be perfect together.", she said. "Yeah thanks.",I said. 

The party started at 7:00. It took thirty minutes to drive to our beach house. It was 5:00 now. "I'm gonna go get ready. Bye.", Angelica said leaving. I waved goodbye. I changed into the tank-top and jeans and put makeup on. I straightened my slightly wavy hair. Since I wasn't allowed to go, I had to sneak out through my window. Mary had fallen asleep downstairs so I just walked through the back door. I couldn't take my car or she'd notice I would be gone. I called Angelica and told her to meet me three blocks from school. As I was running to meet Angelica, I ran into a group of guys while I was texting. "Watch where your going.", I said. "Us? You were the one who was running while texting.", one of them said. The voices sounded familiar. I stood up and looked at my phone to check the time. "Shit. I'm gonna be late.", I said. When I looked up, I realized who they were. "Holy. Shit.", I said looking at Luke. I ran into 5 Seconds of Summer. "I'm so really sorry. Haha silly, clumsy me.", I said. Luke smiled. My phone rang. It was Angelica. "Hello?", I asked. "Where are you?! We're gonna be late!", she yelled into the phone.

"I... uh.... ran into someone. I'll be there in....well I don't know. You can you without me.", I said sadly. "Okay. Who'd you run into?", she asked. "Oh...um... just some idiot who obviously can't watch where they're walking.", I said. "Sorry.", I mouthed to them. "Hurry up. I'm not going without you.", she said. "Okay fine. Bye.", I said hanging up. "Hi, I'm Luke.", he said. "I know.", I said smiling. "I'm Kate.", I quickly said. I was probably smiling like an idiot but I could honestly care less. "You're really pretty.", Ashton said. "Thanks.", I said blushing a little. "Aw you're blushing!", Michael said. "Well, I gotta run. I have a party I have to go to.", I said. "Can we walk with you?", Calum asked. "Sure. Why not?", I said. "Hey uh.. can I have your number?", Luke asked. "Yeah sure.", I said. I put my number in his phone. I got a text. 

unknown: Kate?

Me: yupp who's this

unknown: look next to you :-)

I looked next to me and saw Luke texting me. "Ohh.", I said. 

Luke: will you go out with me tomorrow?

Me: name the time and place and ill b there

Luke smiled. 

As I walked up to Angelica's car, her jaw dropped when she saw them. She rolled her windows down. "How the hell?", she asked. "We're the idiots she ran into.", Calum said. "Oh. TOLD YA!", she yelled. "How was I supposed to know I was actually going to meet them? And I'm having second thoughts about this party. I don't feel like getting stoned and wasted tonight.", I said. "You can't back out now!", she said. "I have better things to do than be around my douche of a brother and his troublemakers he calls friends.", I said. "You could hang with us.", Luke said. "I'd love too.", I said. "Awww. Now I seriously ship it.", Angelica said. "Really?! Gosh, Angelica! Please keep your mouth shut now!",I said feeling embarrassed. Luke wrapped his arm around my waist. I could get used to this. "I'm almost sure you've almost lost your "good girl" image.", she said. "Shut up!", I said. "Fine. I'm going to the party. Bye.", she said driving off.

We walked back to my house. When we walked in, Mary flipped. "WHERE ON EARTH HAVE YOU BEEN?! DID YOU GO TO THE PARTY?! I SWEAR IF YOU WENT.... WHY IS 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER HERE?!", she yelled. "I WENT TO GO TO THE PARTY, YES. I DIDN'T END UP GOING BECAUSE I RAN INTO THESE GUYS. WHICH ALSO EXPLAINS WHY THEY'RE HERE.", I yelled back. She laughed. "Sorry, boys. I'm Mary. Her nanny.", she said. "Hello.", Calum said. "Kate, why does Luke have his arm wrapped around you?", she asked. "Because he can.", I said. "No he can't.", she said. "YOU'RE NOT MY MOM!", I screamed and ran upstairs. They all ran up after me. "Kate, are you okay?", Luke asked. Honestly I didn't know. I mean I guess I missed my parents more than I thought I did. They were never here when I needed them the most. "Yeah. You guys can come in y'know.", I said. They all walked in and sat on my bed next to me. 

Luke Hemmings: 12:30pm at Starbucks?

"That would be lovely.", I said. They all made sure I was okay and I ended up getting all of their numbers. They all asked me random questions about me to get to know me better. "What's your favorite animal?", Ashton asked. "Penguins.", I said. "Luke, she's a keeper.", Calum said. Luke was trying not to smile but was failing miserably. 

Luke: I know we just met, literally only a few hours ago but, will u please b my girlfriend? x <3

Me: yes! xx <3

He held my hand. "Aww. Little Luke is in love.", Michael said. "Shut up.", Luke said. As we were all talking I was starting to fall asleep. "Hey, Kate, can we just crash here tonight?", Ashton asked. I nodded standing up. I went to the bathroom to change into my pj's. I sat back down on Luke's lap. I put my head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around me and made sure I was comfortable. All I remember was Luke kissing my cheek and then I fell asleep.
