Part 3- Next Day

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing in my pocket. "Turn it off.", Calum said. "Hello?", I answered. "Hi! So what happened last night? Give me all the details.", Angelica asked. "Um well they came here, we asked a ton of weird questions, I fell asleep on Luke's lap, and then you woke me and everyone else up.", I said. "I did?! I am so so so so so so so sorry!", she said. "I-it's fine.", I said yawning. "How was the party?", I asked. "You're brother got SO wasted. Worst I've ever seen.", she said. "Speaking of that. I have to go. Bye.", I said hanging up. I got up and went to my brother's room. I knocked on the door. "James? Are you alright?", I asked. No answer. I walked in. He was laying in bed watching tv. "What do you want?", he asked. "Just making sure you made it home.", I said. "So Madison told me you dressed like a slut last night.", he said. I rolled my eyes. "Wanna put that back on?", he asked. "James, you're a total creep.", I said walking out the door. Then he grabbed my arm and pulled me back in his room.

"James, let go.", I said. He held on tighter. "James I mean it.", I said. He held on even tighter. "Stop! That hurts! Let go.", I yelled. He held on tighter. I screamed in pain. Luke came running in. "Let. Her. Go.", he said in a angry voice. "Who's this? Your new famous boyfriend? It'll never work, sis. Just telling you in advance. This guy, he's gonna break your heart. Better stop it before it goes too far.", James said. I used my free hand to slap him. He punched me in the stomach. Luke ran up to James and punched him in the face. He let go of me. "You okay?", Luke asked. I shook my head. He hugged me. "He's wrong, y'know.", Luke said. "I would never break your heart.", he said. I walked back in my room. They all stood up and asked if I was okay. I shrugged my shoulders. I didn't know if I was okay. "I'm going downstairs to get breakfast.", I said. I walked down the stairs. They all followed me. "Wow. I have stalkers now.", I said laughing. I opened the freezer and grabbed an ice pack. Then Mary walked in.

"Did they sleep here?", she asked. Yes. "Maybe.", I said. "I'll let that slide. What happened to your stomach?", she asked. "My douche bag of a brother.", I said. "Go rest on the couch in the living room. I'll bring you guys breakfast in ten.", Mary said. As I walked, I whimpered in pain. He hit me really hard. "Need some help?", Michael asked. "I don't know.", I said. Then Luke picked me up and set me down on the couch. "Thanks.", I said. It hurt to put the ice pack on. I lifted up my shirt, not caring if they were watching. There was a giant bruise. "Damn it.", I said under my breath. They all looked worried. Luke laid next to me on the couch. "I could get used to this.", he said. After we ate, Ashton, Calum, and Michael left to go change. "Aren't you going to change?", I asked. "They'll bring me something.", he said putting his head in the crook of my shoulder. "Do you just wanna stay here? We can go out tomorrow.", Luke said. I nodded. I felt bad. "It's okay. I would much rather stay like this anyway.", he said smiling. 

He wrapped his arms carefully around me. Our legs were like a puzzle piece. "Can we just stay like this forever?", I asked. "I wish.", he said. He starred into my eyes. Oh my gosh his eyes. They were beautiful. "I know we just met, but I think I'm in love with you.", he said. "Aw, Luke! I love you too.", I said wrapping my arms around him and putting my head on his chest. I looked up at him and he kissed me. We both pulled away at the same time, five minutes later. "That was awesome.", I said. "Agreed.", he said smiling. "I love you, Kate.", he said. "I love you too, Luke.", I said. Then out of nowhere, Angelica walked in. "Did I miss something?", she asked. "Oh right. Meet my boyfriend, Luke. Luke this is Angelica. You met her yesterday so I don't know why I'm saying this.", I said. "You two are dating now?", she asked. I nodded. "Aww.", she said. I stood up to hug her. "Hey, you think you could get Calum to date me?", she asked. "I'll try.", I said. "You're the best!", she said hugging me tightly. "I know I am. And ouch.", I said. "Sorry. What happened?", she asked. "James.", we both said at the same time. 

"I'm so sorry. I didn't know.", she said. "It's fine.", I said. "Kate, come back.", Luke said. "Miss her already?", Angelica asked. He nodded. He sat up. "I brought food.", Angelica said holding up a bag of Taco Bell. "You are the best.", I said. "I know.", she said. I grabbed my food and sat down next to Luke. Then Calum walked in. "He's hotter in person.", she whispered. He handed Luke his clothes. "Can I use your shower?", he asked. "Go right ahead. There's one down that hallway.", I said. "Be right back.", he said kissing me on the cheek. Calum sat down next to Angelica. "I'll leave you two to talk while I'm upstairs taking a shower.", I said walking upstairs. I quickly got in the shower. When I got out, I changed into a pair of grey, Hollister sweats and a purple tank-top. When I walked back to my room, I saw Luke, shirtless, just sitting on my bed. I guess you could say he was hot. But that wouldn't even begin to explain it. "Hey.", I said. "Hey. Um yeah they didn't bring me a shirt. Just jeans.", he explained. "I'm perfectly fine with that.", I said. 

"Wanna cuddle?", he asked. I nodded. I laid on top of him. "Please don't let me go.", I said. "Never.", he said holding me tighter. "I love you, Luke.", I said. "I love you too, Kate.", Luke said. I wanted to stay like this forever. But then, as always, James ruins everything. He walked in. "Kate, what did I tell you. He's just going to screw with you and then dump you after he gets what he wants.", James said. "Shut the hell up.", I said. He pushed me. I lost my balance. I fell backwards and hit my head. Hard. I remember Luke yelling for an ambulance and James walking out while Luke kept saying everything was going to be okay and that he loved me. Then I blacked out.
