After Farhan left, Rayyan contacted his elder sister. He was constantly in touch with her since he left home but he never told her where he lives or what he does. He would just message her to check up on his parents and she would tell him what was going on in her life. Fareed didn't know he was in touch with his sister.

Hey kaka, you awake? (Kaka means sister in Malay language)

He typed in and pressed the send button. Her whatsapp status showed that she was online a few hours ago so he wasn't sure if she would reply back or not. Lying on his bed, he waited for her response. This was the first time he was going to tell her what was going on in his life.

Yup! How are you Ray?

Rayyan smiled when he saw her message.

I am good. I want to tell you something but don't tell bapa or ibu, okay?

Sure what is it? :)

Rayyan swallowed before typing. He knew it would be like dropping a bomb on her.

I am getting married and I want you to be there for my wedding.

Taking a deep breathe he sent the message. His sister was online. His heart was beating fast as he waited for her response. Whatsapp was showing him that she had seen the message but hadn't started typing yet.

Come on, type! Say something.

Just when he sent this message, her status changed from online to typing.

Am I dreaming? You are asking me to attend your wedding. How on earth am I suppose to believe it? The guy who used to say that he would never get married has finally decided to settle down. Is this a joke Ray?

Rayyan rolled his eyes at his sister and called her. He needed to talk to his sister. Enough with the messages.

"You are calling me? I can't believe this." She laughed before continuing. "I thought I would never hear your voice ever again. Say something, anything. It's been ages since I have heard your voice." Rayyan heard her voice breaking at the end. He sighed.

"How are you kaka?" He said and that was enough for his sister to break into tears. She started crying and he could tell that she had covered her mouth so their parents couldn't hear her cry.

"Kaka, stop crying. You are not a little baby." Rayyan scolded.

"I missed you so much, Ray. All of us miss you. Ibu talks about you all the time. Come back. We will do whatever you want. Just come back." She sobbed and Rayyan's face softened.

For the first time since he left his home, he wished he hadn't moved out but he soon composed himself with a shake of head. Why was he thinking about it now? He never regretted his decision then why now?

Maybe because you need your family.

Rayyan had learned to shut that soft whisper which always warn you before you do something wrong but this time he couldn't stop it. He had thought that his conscience had stopped tellimg him what was wrong and right but it seems like he was wrong. His conscience was still alive, telling him what he had done wrong.
