My eyes snapped open and I knew that something had gone wrong. I peeked my head out of the cocoon of blankets I had made during the night with my usual twisting and turning. I looked ever so slowly around the room. My sisters seemed safe and warm in their beds. A fluttering of white had me twisting my head towards the window and away from my sisters.

Beside the large window stood Dione, Alex and...Me? These obvious imposters where staring at the moon and chanting. I looked back towards the beds on my right and saw Dione. She looked as though she was asleep but I saw her eyelids flicker and knew she was watching them. Alex too appeared asleep but I knew better than that.

One of the phony us’ made the mistake of glancing at Dione. (The bloodless.) She conferred. (They are here to replace us.)

(How did they even find out about us, let alone find us?) Alex asked.

(I don't know, but it doesn't matter.) I replied. (Any plans?) I asked. Immediately each of my sisters had a suggestion. I was still formulating my own plan.

(Over the beds, startle them and knock them out of the window.) Alex said.

(Lock them in the closet and keep them as hostages.) Dione corrected. Both ideas were manageable but I couldn't let my sisters put their lives on the line without backup if things went wrong.

(I want to try something.) I told them.

(Hurry.) Dione replied as the chanting got louder.

(Saturn?) I asked. I could sense him about to run in the door. (Stop.) I said. (Why?) He asked, surprised.

(The bloodless are expecting us to put up no fight as they try and replace us. I need you to let us handle things. You can come in in exactly ten seconds if we need you.)

(You’re playing with fire, love.) Saturn responded. (And you are more flammable then you know.)

(No I'm the fire. Something for you to remember.) I knew he had to follow my orders and I dreaded forcing him to do my bidding but it was important that we show the people here and those who seeked to hurt us that we were more than capable of taking care of ourselves.

(Ready?)Alex asked.

(Yes) I replied. (Plan, take care of your selves. Let’s prove to everyone that we are not just to be protected or taken.)

(Yea.)Dione said, trying to distance herself from the mental image of punching herself in the face.

(Saturn? Do you have the plan) I asked.

(It’s dangerous, Theia.) He returned.

(So am I.) I replied my mind already on the impending fight. (1, 2, 3...go.) I thought. As one we jumped out of our beds startling the bloodless versions of us.

“Hello...children.”Said Theia #2.

“We were going to kill you later but we can speed it up.” Alex #2 added.

“I wouldn't mind speeding this up.” Dione #2 said with a maniac grin.

“And I thought you guys would be smart.” I spat back angrily. I took my fighting stance and watched their eyebrows go up. It was obvious that I knew how to fight.

“So much for playing us.” Dione supplied.

“I actually feel bad for you bloodless creeps.”Alex said with her cold smile. I had only seen that smile during really intense training sessions with our mother. Her jade eyes were alight with anger.

(Start your countdown.) I told Saturn, as I spun my leg up nailing Theia #2 in the temple. Miraculously she didn't collapse. She was stunned however so I pressed my advantage and punched her in the nose. It was weird to see her stunned reaction on my face. She grabbed my fist as I pulled back for a second punch. Her teeth, bared in a grimace, grew into a pair of fangs.
