My Opinion on the War! (Solienna)

So, where my loyalty falls in the sense of the Civil War of Skyrim is a topic that I've been debating upon. The Stormcloaks or the Imperials? Ulfric or Tullius? If you must know, before now I have always considered myself as a Stormcloak fighting alongside Ulfric for what I thought was the greater good (and for the amazing Ralof, of course). I have never considered myself an Imperial in the political sense or the racial sense; all of my current characters are Nords. Call me a milk-drinker, whatever, but I'm a pure bred Nord.

However, I'm starting to have my doubts all of a sudden. I'm not saying I'm an Imperial now. No, I wouldn't convert to one of them, I just don't think I'm on either side anymore after I started thinking about what would happen after the war in Skyrim if you've picked the Stormcloaks. After replaying Skyrim about ten times, nine of the ten being with Stormcloaks, I know how Ulfric is, and I know that when he becomes High King that he won't forget the terrible things the war has put him through; he'll want revenge.

And this revenge is why I don't think I might be a Stormcloak, and I don't think the Empire controlling Skyrim would better Skyrim, either, so I'm not an Imperial. I think Ulfric's revenge would be starting an era of slavery in Skyrim. I'd say he'd enslave Dark Elves, Imperials, most likely Argonians and Khajiits, basically anyone who isn't a Nord. Even though I've never created an Argonian/Khajiit/Orc/Imperial character just because I can't bring myself to, I wouldn't want them enslaved.

I think that being on the Stormcloak side would kind of be like being ignorant to what would happen after the war and just being a Nord trying to defend their land without having loyalty to Ulfric. They just want an opportunity to test their worth and not care what happens afterwards. Having said this, I'm not indifferent or neutral to the war, because that means I don't care about the war at all, and I do care.

No, I myself think I'd try to start my own rebellion. I'd accept anyone willing to really fight for what they think is best for Skyrim. Cheesy, I know, but everywhere I fiercely believe in equality (yes, even in video games) and I think that this rebellion is the only way to achieve what all of Skyrim really needs, since both leaders of both sides of the war are corrupted, out for power and septims.

So, in conclusion, I wouldn't be on either side of the war, I'd start my own rebellion. Anyone with me? (Probably not. I'm stupid.)

(p.s.: Cat's going to beat me up now that she knows I'm not pro-Stormcloak anymore. COME AT ME, BRO.)
