Kimberly's POV

Its been two weeks living with my boss and it is totally awkward well for me it has been. Waking up seeing him was awkward, watching TV with him was awkward, taking a shower going to bed was awkward and coming into work with him was awkward. People started to notice every time I walked past someone I would here whispers are they together?, maybe she seduced him, she's fat why would he like her. Walking past everyone I held my head down until the receptionist of the floor called me I turned around "yes Ashley?" She looked at me with a smile "hey listen don't let what anyone is saying bring you down if you guys are together great if not who cares its no ones business" I smiled other than James no one has been nice to me here well except that time the Korean architect came he was mad at me but that was fixed. Saying bye to Ashley after talking for a while I head to James office today he had to come in early so hits driver drove me. Heading to his office I hear yelling so I stop I no it's not good to listen but hey I couldn't help it "James what are you going to do work for the rest of your life no mother wants to see her child go though life alone" "OK can you leave now mother" "kicking me out I see". I'm gusting his mother is here I never met her but anyways I took a breath and knocked on the door "come in" getting his OK I walk in "hello sir on my way in I picked up the blue prints for the building in Korea they said if there is any changes you would like to make please do and fax the changes over to them" I turn my head to his mother "hello ma'am" I give my hand for her to shake it with a smile she looked shocked then shook my hands "hello dear" I noticed she was shaking a little I look at her forehead and see she's sweating I walk over to the water Despenser taking a cup pouring water in it I walk back over to Mrs. Matthews well Mrs. Mateo plastering the water on the desk James was looking asst me confused "ma'am may I take your coat please?" "No I'm about to leave" I couldn't let her leave like this it's 70° degrees outside and she's wearing a heavy coat I don't care how fancy she's trying to be but health is everything "ma'am please I can't let you leave in your state" she looked a little angry "young lady I'm fine I'm not that old u can't take care of myself" she's was walking out to leave but I get infringe of her making James stand from his seat "ma'am please your sweating and shaking wearing a winter coat in 70° degree weather" I paused looking down "I lost my parents and I couldn't do anything about it but if I let you walk out of this building the way you are and something happened to you knowing I could have done some something I would feel terrible" I look up at her she turns her head to James then back at me she started taking off her coat passing it to me I smiled "fine dear" I walk her over to the coach in James office and hand her the water "here you go this will cool you done and prevent you from being over heated" she took the water downing it I just knew she wasn't feeling well "James sweetheart is she an employee?" I look at James "mother she is my personal assistance" he did walking over to sir next to her he rubbed her back "mother why didn't you say went feeling good?" "You wanted me to leave so I was going so i wouldn't bother you" James looked down I guess feeling guilty I spoke up "James you shouldn't treat your mother in such ways just because she came to talk to you" I fold my arms upset he wouldn't want to see his mother I would give up everything just to see my mother again. James looked at his mother "Mi dispiace madre" (I'm sorry mother) she looked at him shocked and then look at me "it's OK hun but I'm sweety what is your name?" "Oh I'm so sorry ma'am my name is Kimberly it's very nice to meet you" she smiled "well you must now already I'm James mother and dear you can call me Annabelle or mother" she smiled. James mother is such a warm lady it's like my mother was here in font of me

James POV

I looked at my mother "you want her to call you mother?" "Yes that our my name ma'am makes me seen old" "you are old" she pinched me for that "ow crazy lady" Kimberly stated to laugh me and my mother looked at her gosh her laugh was so soft and smile was so beautiful I looked at my mom she was smiling at her like she saw the happiest thing happen. Kimberly for up "well it was so nice to meet you ma- I mean Annabelle I must get back to work" before she can even get off the seat I stop her "your work is in here I can't speak, read or write in Korean I'm going to need your help with some changes on the blue prints" she sat up and nodded her head. Going over the blue prints which only took about 3 hours my mother and Kimberly got more friendly I kinda like seeing how much my mom likes her makes me feel more confident "well how about we go out for lunch" "oh yes I'm feeling much better" i look at Kimberly who was looking everywhere but me "Kimberly come on" "oh no you should have lunch with your mom I'll be here" I smirk at her "I wasn't asking" she stared at me with wide eyes and a little blush gosh that's cute

Kimberly's POV

I was sitting across from James and his mother it was silent until she spoke "so Kimberly what are your opened for the future?" "Well I have an amazing job so um well I guess next is to fined a boyfriend get married and somewhere down the line have children" just thinking about having children brings a smile to my face my thoughts where cut off when the waiter brought me and Annabelle's salad I she started to eat hers thought away I checked mine "excuse me waiter" while the waiter was walking back towards us Annabelle started coughing and wheezing "mother what's wrong!" She pointed to her salad James cursed "damnit does the salad have nuts in it?!" "Y-yes" "Kimberly call 911" it seemed Annabelle was allergic to nuts I dug into my bag getting what I needed "James lift up her shirt" "no call 911!" "Just do it" James growled but did what I said I took out my epipen and pushed it in Annabelle's leg a minute later she was breathing and her swelling was going down. James decided to take his mom home I went back to the office to fax over the blue print changes and get me and James belongings. It's late in the afternoon and I'm down stairs waiting for James driver. While waiting I see a man from a far just staring at me I was freaking out thinking he started to walk towards me I turned around not "OK Kimberly he's just another person walking on street stop being paranoid" the man walked until he was next to me "hello Kimberly" I was shocked I looked at the man scared "you can't run from us darling" I started to run run as fast as I could who the hell was that I look back and see him running after me I round the corner running into someone

James POV

I'm about to turn the corner to get Kimberly when someone bumped into me "Kimberly?" She gets up hugging me "wha-?". Before I can ask her what's going on a man turns the corner he looks to me then Kimberly then back to me he put his hand behind his back setting him pull a gun I put Kimberly behind a car "stay down" she nodded her head I took out my gun and started shooting

Kimberly's POV

The shooting ended I popped my head out "James?" "It's alright come on" I got up taking his hand when I turn my head I don't see the guy that was chasing me "w-where is he" "I let him go" I looked at James like he was crazy "why would you let him go?!" I moved away from James mad why would he do that "what's going to stop him from coming back!?" I was so mad but I think I was more scared than mad James grabbed my hands "I went him away so he can relay a message" "what message?" James has a smirk on his face "who ever is after you just messed with the Mateo's" I looked at him shocked "let's go home" I follow him to his car "what is this feeling safety, calmness..... Love?"
