What A Secret!

Suzy's POV

Walking into the house uncle Troy walks us up the stairs straight into dad's office. Looking from some important papers my mom and dad smile greeting me. Seeing uncle Troy a little worried my dad asks "Troy what's up?" "Well boss, I got something to tell you about the boy". Before uncle Troy can get anything out Jay walk forward "Mr.Mathews today after school we where followed and attacked by some of tevon's men". Hearing tevon's name my dad stands up "what do you know of that name Jay". Jay took a deep breath but then uncle Troy spoke "his father works for him"

Right know we where all sitting in my dad's office talking to Jay about everything. Handing some water my mom asked him "Jay does your sister know about your dad?". Looking into the water not taking sip Jay sighs "yeah she does but there's nothing she can do about it". Remembering something I ask "Jay isn't your dad like some kind of lawyer?". "Yeah he is but all his money goes to that wannabe kingpin, if it wasn't for my mom's saving and insurance money I don't think we would have survived, my dad probably would have sold Kate to get out of dept with him".

Kimberly's POV

Hearing Jay speak I feel bad for him and Kate, they are such nice kids they shouldn't have to go through this. "Jay what do you mean he would have sold your sister?" Looking up at me he speaks again. "Well he only use to buy from him so he was in dept and really broke, not getting any clients he tried to take Kate and sell her. I gave him another suggestion" "and what was that?" Looking at me then James Jay took a big breath "I told him to just be their attorney to get them out of any mess they get into". "It's ok Jay you suggested that to protect your sister" "thanks, but speaking of my sister I have to be heading home she's still a little sick so, I'm sorry for the interruption". I stand up giving Jay a hug, he says good bye to everyone and Suzy walks him down to the door, I turn around to James. " What are we going to do he's helping those punks and treating his own children as pawns. "Troy look into his dad" I look at James after he says that then I ask him "James what are you doing"  "Kimberly it doesn't involve you!". Doesn't involve me? "What are you yelling at me for I just don't want you to do something so crazy as to leave those kids fatherless". Walking up to me James grabs my arm adding pressure not a lot to harm me but it sure scared me "Kimberly what ever I do I do your only job right know is take care of the kids understood?". I've never seen James this mad before not to me at least at this moment I hold back my tears just staring at him then he yells again "UNDERSTOOD!?" I cower "yes sir" "we're done leave please". Leaving his office I hold a hand over my heart it was beating like crazy, but not from of his swear works but something I never thought I would feel from him, FEAR.

It's been two days sense James yelled at and sadly as his fiance and mother of his children well, I've been avoiding him.it's gotten to where if I hear his voice down the hall, I would run into the nearest room or go back to where I was. Right know I heard him going to our room so I sucked into a guess room waiting for him to pass. Walking fast I go to the living area where Kimberly and Neron where sitting on the couch watching Rugrats "come on Neron let's go pay in the sand box". Picking her brother up Suzy pats my shoulder and gives me a simpathetice smile, gosh what am I going to do "so pathetic". Later that night I was in our room trying to go sleep real fast, James was looking for me all day. I decided I needed to go out and get some fresh air so I went out without James knowing. Trying so hard to sleep I got up went into the bathroom to put some warm water on my face until I hear the door close. "Kimberly you in hear!!?" He was yelling again but it sounded like fear than anger. I slowly walk out the bathroom, "yes?" He ran to me grabbing both my arms hard shaking me making me scream "where the hell where all day no one knew where you where not even Suzy knew, you know there are people after you how in God's name am I suppose to protect you if I don't know where the fuck your at Kimberly!!?". I closed my eyes tears falling from them, putting my hands on his chest I look up at him "please, please stop".

James POV

Looking into her eyes sing hey crying I stop and look at my situation. I had her up against a wall her in both my hands shaking her yelling at her, at this moments I see fear and it was caused by me. Taking a two steps back I cover my eyes shaking my head "Kimberly il mio amore I'm so sorry". Uncovering my eyes I see her sitting on the floor covering her face crying, this is something I never wanted to have happened. I never wanted to ever scare her or put fear into her I walk over to hey and bend down in front of her placing a hand on her nee "I never ever wanted to frighten you Kimberly, I never every wanted to put you in a place all too familiar. I just didn't want you to worry about anything that happens, and I definitely didn't want anything happening to you. If I loose you Kim I loose everything and that sure will be the death of me". Whipping her tears I smile at her and lucky I get one back "do you forgive me il mio amore?". She hesitates for a while, "just promise to work on being calm sometimes ok because, because I was really scared that you were going to do something else". I hug her and really hold her close "il mio amore the day I ever raise a hand at you is the day I am no longer a real man". Getting up I put her to bed walking to the bathroom to take a shower when she calls me, "James what are you going to do to Kate and Jay's father?" "I'm going to kill him" "WHAT!!?".
