[Daytime Mason Works. In the lab, Sam is flying as fast as she can while Tucker tracks her with a speed scanner and Danny takes notes on a clipboard. The scanner clocks her at 112 mph.]

Tucker: 112 miles per. Lightin' up the speed gun, dude.

Grinning, Sam goes intangible, phasing out through the wall and back in through the ceiling then reappearing.

Danny: (making a note on a clipboard) Intangibility, check.

Sam goes invisible, and Danny and Tucker look around for her.

Danny and Tucker: Sam?

Sam dives down toward them, still invisible.

Tucker: Invisibility, check. (He flinches as Sam overshadows him.)

Sam: (overshadowing Tucker) Hi, I'm Tucker! Don't let the PDA, goth clothes, and lack of muscles fool you. I'm a stud.

Tucker glows green as Sam leaves him.

Tucker: I hate when you do that.

Danny: Ok, hotshot. Let's ramp it up.

He clicks a button on a remote, making several rings pop down from the ceilings and dart guns come out of the walls. Sam flips through the rings then dodges the darts easily. Two board ghosts pop up from the counter and he zaps them with ecto blasts. She skips a popup board of Jazz, then hits a third ghost one. Then he zaps the Jazz one behind her back.

Danny: Good wish it wasn't my sister but nice shot.

Sam: But it's fun you try Danny. (Hands him a blaster)

Danny: I don't know.

Tucker: Yeah Sam it's hard to use those the Astro-Baby shouldn't be handling dangerous weapons.

Danny: I'm not a baby! (Aims weapon and gets a perfect shot) (badass mode) Huh it just like balancing my telescope.

Sam and Tucker look shocked

Danny: Ha ha it works. Um let's continue with Sam's tests.

Sam: Ok but you are going to start carrying that on patrol.

Metal barriers pop out of the floor, and she coasts through them intangibly. Going tangible again, she gives her friends a thumbs up and immediately slams into the wall, falling to the floor.

Tucker: Hi, I'm Sam Manson! Don't let the concussion and bruises fool you, I need more practice.

Scowling, Sam turns a patch of the floor intangible, and Tucker falls through with a yell.

Danny: That wasn't very nice Sam. However, it's quiet in here now.

Opening theme

Daytime at Manson Works. We zoom out from a photo of Pamela hugging a much younger Sam who has her arm cross.

Pamela: I just don't get it, Sam and I never got along and I just don't know why.

Pamela is sitting on the couch, holding the framed picture sadly. We zoom out farther and see that Jeremy is sitting on the couch next to her, drawing pictures of jumpsuits.

Jeremy: Aha! No that doesn't work. (He crosses out the picture) No that doesn't work either.

Pamela: [sigh] We never got along and she never wants to hang out with me only Ida and her friends.

Jeremy: Honey, she's just going through a phase a 14 year phase.

Pamela: [Still looking at the picture] Sam's just growing up so fast. Those special times seem to be slipping away. Oh, I wish I can have at least one memory of just us where we're both happy. [Hugs the picture]
