The seventh letter

You never loved me

Today was your wedding with her.

I knew it because She told me.

She wouldn't leave me alone whenever we met in the cafe.

And She invited me to attend.

She didn't know of course.

You didn't tell her and I didn't either.

We never saw each other after our anniversary, but it was about to change.

She was gorgeous in her wedding dress.

And you looked stunning in your tuxedo.

And it broke my heart when you said those two words, because you were supposed to be with me.

Not her.

Then you kissed her and suddenly, you weren't mine anymore.

The apartment next to mine -that was used to be ours- was on sale.

And you bought it.

And you moved in.

With Her.

I could hear you two every time you made love and I had to realise that it wasn't the same.

You were either gentle or rough with me, depending on your mood.

But you were always loving and passionate when it came to her.

And I knew why.

Because you loved her.

With me it was always fucking, never expressing our love.

Not even at the time you got me pregnant and certainly not the time before you left.
