“Alright, since this was my idea, I think I'll go first.” Souji walked over to the now seated group of girls and stroked his chin. “Since I brought all of you here, I should get a turn with each of you, but I suppose I'll be nice to everyone else and just pick one of you.” His eyes locked on yours, causing a wide, flirtatious smile to appear on his face. “I think you'll do nicely.” He offered you his hand and helped you onto your feet. “Shall we?”

Toshizo grabbed onto Souji's sleeve and pulled him back into the room. “Souji, where do you think you're going? You can't just waltz around outside with her. You need to stay hidden.” He pointed to a small room where extra linens, dishes and other odds and ends were kept. “You'll spend your time with her in there. You'll still have plenty of privacy, but you'll both be safe.”

“A thin wall might be enough privacy for you, but I think I'd prefer something a bit more secluded.” Toshizo's stare was enough to make Souji give in. “Fine, you don't have to get so moody. When your turn comes, no one will want you.” Turning his attention back to you, Souji led you into the rather spacious room and shut the door. “Sorry about him. He wasn't always such a grump.” He dropped to the cold wooden floor and crossed his legs. “Please, take a seat.”

“Thank you.” After giving a slight bow, you gracefully sat down across from him and placed your hands on your lap.

Souji grinned at your politeness. “You don't have to be so formal. You're with a band of dirty warriors, most of which have had too much sake.” He laughed. “Your manners aren't really appreciated here.” He leaned back and placed his hand behind him for support. “Tell me something though. Why would a pretty young girl like you even come with me?”

“I-I'm not really sure. I suppose I was intrigued. I knew that if I followed you, I'd get to see things that most people never would.” Already blushing, you looked down at your hands and breathed slowly in an attempt to calm your heart. “Also, my family is rather, strict. Doing something like this would most likely make them ashamed of me. But since you all are bound by silence, I know they won't find out. This may be my only chance to do something so, indecent.”

“Is that so? Well then, I guess I'd better make this night memorable for you.” As his grin became wider and more crooked, he slowly crawled over to you so that he was only inches away. “Now if you scream, I'll have to kill you. Understand?”

To his surprise, you nodded. “I won't scream, I promise. I may have lived a sheltered life, but I'm not completely naive.”

“Strong words, considering your shaking like a leaf and your face is as crimson as blood.” Souji roughly took your chin in his hand. “I'm a nice guy, so I'll give you one more chance to change your mind. It's you that has to face your family, not me.”

“You're right.” You nodded. “So tell me, why is it that you're the one hesitating?”

Souji dropped his hand and stared at you blankly. “W-what?”

“I have to face my family, but you're the one that seems scared.” You mimicked his early actions and roughly took his chin in your hand. “I may have had a strict upbringing, but your time as a soldier has made you completely clueless when it comes to females.” Lowering yourself lips down to just hover over his, you smiled. “So I'll just have to teach you a little something.”

“This was supposed to be a lesson.” He smirked despite his growing embarrassment. “So go for it. I won't stop you.”

You'd have done what you wanted whether or not you had his permission. But honestly, having it did make you a little less nervous. Forcing yourself to act before your common sense could kick in, you lowered your lips to his and roughly kissed him. A few seconds later, Souji started to laugh. “W-why are you laughing?”

“You really have lived a sheltered life, haven't you?” He pulled you onto his lap and nuzzled behind your ear with his nose. “That's no way to kiss. You've got to feel it.” Wrapping his arms around you so that you couldn't get away, Souji kissed you. You had to admit, this kiss was much better than your attempt. “You see? Now that's how you're supposed to kiss someone.”

Blushing and embarrassed, you crossed your arms and turned away from him. “Okay I get it, you're a better kisser than I am, but I still had the guts to initiate the first kiss. Remember that.”

“I never said you were a bad kisser.” He laughed. “But, we have been in here long enough. I wouldn't want the others to get suspicious.” Souji stood up and pulled you onto your feet. “This was fun, I'll admit.” With his hand on the door, he closed his eyes and smiled. “But if you tell anyone what happened in here, well, I'll just have to kill you. Remember that.”
