Kalee, Kai, and myself have been friends for a while now. I had a small crush on Kai, but I don't get nervous whenever I talk to him. We all had a few classes together, including homeroom, but now it's time for a whole new day at school.
As I was at my locker Kalee ran up to me. "Heyyyyweeb!" She yelled.
"Ahh!" I screamed. "Geez Kalee you scared me..." I said, still a little shocked. "The second I tell you I like manga, you assume that I'm a total weeb." I said, trying to convince her that I wasn't a weeaboo.
"Yah yah, whatever weeb, here ya go!" Kalee passed me a manga.
"Yaoi on Fire Vol 1" it said. "OH MY GOD YOU'RE THE BEST!" I screamed while I hugged her "haha... yah I knew you would like it...weeb." She hugged back. "How come you got it for me?" I asked her. "Eh...I felt bad that I missed your birthday since freaking Kai had to be SICK!"
"Oh, it's fine! You can't help it when you're sick.." I turned around and saw Kai running down the hallway.
"Oh look...say his name and he'll come rushing towards you!" She joked. Kai approached Kalee.
"Haha, very funny!" Kai said while panting slightly. "I just wanted to wish Micah a happy birthday." Kai said. "Here... it's not much." He handed me a card. I opened it to see two ten dollar bills inside. "Oh wow thanks Kai!"
"Alright, well my class starts soon I better get going...ya know got literally THE WORST HOMEROOM TEACHER POSSIBLE!" he said with a salty tone. He then ran off.
Then the bell rang. Kalee went to class, but slowly walked. When I walked in I saw the back of someone's head. It was dyed a dark purple with a pink highlight. "Wow, I've never seen a high schooler with their hair dyed that much" I thought. As I sat down next Kalee, I noticed she was drawing in her sketchbook. "What are you drawing?" I whispered.
"I was thinking about starting my own brand of soap. And i need a company design so I'm drawing a sketch for that." Kallee replied.
"Nice..."
Mr.Adam then walked into the room. Kalee put away her stretch book as fast as she could. "So today we have a new student..." he began. "Jinx come on up..." then the person from earlier walked up, their purple hair was bouncing as they walked. When they got up to the front they did a turn. In my head, it was one of those really dramatic turns. But it was normal in real life. I looked up at this Jinx' and...I don't know how to describe it but... we looked at each other and...his brown eyes were so filled with life...and....he smiled....but it felt like that smile was for me. The second we met eyes...I..... Kai was completely out of the question of who I was attracted to... this was special.
