Alyssa woke up in a shady prison with a very bad headache. That's when she realized that she had a golden heart shaped locket with a beautiful flower design in the middle of it. She picked it up and inside she saw a boy about her age, with black hair and mischievous brown eyes. His skin was a few shades lighter than hers and he looked happy. On the other hand she saw a picture of a couple. The woman looked a lot like Alyssa, she had the same brown hair and same green eyes. The man didn't look at whoever was painting but instead looked at the woman with so much love it almost brought tears in her eyes. The man had black hair and his eyes were a beautiful blue.
She closed the locket and tried to get out of bed. As soon as she did her head burst into searing pain. "Wait for me, I am almost there."

Alyssa screamed in pain and at the same moment the door to her prison burst into little pieces. Outside the door was the boy in the picture, his hair were a greasy black mess but his eyes still held the same mischievous gaze. He looked at her and smiled as if all his worries had just gone away. "You have no idea how long I have been searching for you" he said taking a step towards her and enveloping her in a hug. Alyssa blushed before pulling away. "I am sorry but who are you?" She asked. The boy frowned and said "very funny Alyssa"
"I am sorry but I honestly don't know you, I believe my memory has been washed away" she replied her voice shaking. He looked at her, the gleam in his eyes were gone and he looked confused, scared, and hurt. Alyssa met his gaze and gasped. His eyes changed color! Where there were brown puppy eyes now there were sad dark blue eyes. "Well then, my name is Ali and I am-" he was cut off abruptly by a guard falling on him.
Alyssa ran to him and got the guard off him. She helped him up and looked to the direction that the guard came from.

"What was that?!" She exclaimed.

He sighed and looked at her with sad, now navy blue, eyes and said "That my friend was your brother."
