♤jeromes POV♤
I woke up to a shriek, expecting to see the means doods i saw a distressed mitch, grabbing at his back. He let out another shriek and big black wings with red and white highlights came from his back, also sharp black horns raised from his hair. I looked over to lachlan to see him experiencing a similar change but instead of black wings white and gold wings sprouted from his back and white and gold horns curled like a rams came from his head. Another scream caught my attention as preston clawed at his face as his skin turned into what looked like lava behind glass. Rob wasnt making a peep but he was shaking violently as flowers pretty much sprouted from his skin and his veins turned the colour of a plants root. Finally vikk kept making small groans but would go silent as his blue veins became brighter and what appeared to be ice spikes grew from his elbows and back. Everyone had changed and everyone was panicking. "Its ok all of you calm down!" I growled at them. But like a light switched off i realized my candle had finally gone out, and panick took over my body just like a master did a puppet. I grabbed the bars and started to shriek and howl in fear, and everyones eyes were on me.
《Mitchs POV》
We all watched jerome panick and go wild, all of us confused but slowly realizing the only change with him. The small candle that once set in his cell was gone, it done burned out. We looked at each other with worry before the door flung open. An angry man charged in and stuck a stick with what appeared to be a knife at the end of it in jeromes direction, hitting him right in the shoulder. This only made him shriek more before the guy kicked another small lite candle into his cage. I dont think i have every seen someone hold a face of both joy and pain before. He sat by his candle like it was his life line. "Well that was.... um different?" I heard lachlan say quietly, "are you scared of the dark?"i heard preston question. All jerome did was nod slowly. "I developed it when i first got here they made me go through different tests and a lot of it included sitting in the dark and being hurt" he said with a shakey voice. We all looked among each other, "that must have been terrible" i said softly trying not to scare him anymore. I then took a moment to look among each other, we all looked different, we were officially monsters.
♧Robs POV♧
I looked among us all, this whole ordeal was so simple but also so complex. All of us were hurt, scared, scarred for life and most of all we all craved freedom. With that thought in mind and the worry for the quivering preston infront of me, my power became stronger with my feelings. Suddenly my cell was breached by a gaint sunflower, it busted through almost silently though. I looked at preston expectantly, his eyes brightened with a sudden understanding. We were getting out of here, even if we had to kill everyone in here.
◇Prestons POV◇
I saw rob look at me expectantly, anf a realization came to me. He wants he to burn through my cuffs....
I allowed my lava like skin to heat and slowly melt the cuffs holding me in. As soon as i was free from them i ran to my cell bars and grabbed them, melting through them as well. Without thinking i broke everyone free all we had to do was get into robs cell and we would be free. I melted robs bars and went to grab his cuffs, but he immediatly shrieked because my flaming hot hands brushed one of the flowers protruding from his skin. A look of worry crossed my face as i looked at the door then back at rob. I could hear people coming. "Lachlan, mitch ,jerome go hold the door!!" I yelled " vikk cover robs arms with water so i dont burn him anymore!". Vikk grabbed robs arms and they sprouted a water that protected the tiny flowers, and to work melting his cuffs i went. As soon as he was free i went to help him up only to realize he wasnt awake anymore,  the pain of my burn made him pass out. At that realization i drew my hand back and allowed vikk to roughly wake him up.
"Its time to go guys!!" I yelled to the others as the blocked the door and ran to robs cell. A half awake rob lead everyone onto the flower... but i stood back scared id burned the flower and everyone else. I heard the barrier the others had put of crack, but i couldnt move. It was just impossible i willed myself to walk onto the flower but i just couldnt. The pained face of rob quickly crossed my mind, i hurt him ..... not the guys in the white coats ... i myself hurt him. While in my dazed state my skin went vack to its normal state and rob took that chance to drag me onto the flower. The flower slowly decended to the ground below and it patched the hole in the flower as we left. By time we reached the ground and slide off the flower went back to normal. We all ran as fast as our legs could carry us, mitch and lachlan even attempting to fly . Once we felt far enough to be safe we all ducked into a small cave for safety. Thats when i felt the worst pain one can feel course through my stomach/adominal region. I curled into a ball in a small corner of the cave, i felt like the others were a danger besides rob. For some reason his presence made the pain not so bad, i ended up in his lap facing him, dozing off.
>Lachlans POV<
We all kinda awed at the scene of preston cuddling rob... it was really cute to be honest. I looked over a vikk, taking that moment to deeply investigate his changes. He had beautiful ice spikes going down his back and they ended right above his butt, they also sat upon his elbows like weapons. He looked at me shyly after realizing i was pretty much checking him out. I went to hug him his spikes and my wings make hugging the hardess thing in the world. But we managed our goal as we soon were cuddling in another corner, we sat side to side but vikk has his face in the juncture between my shoulder and neck. I felt him doze off, as for the first time in days we all felt safe.
