As i walk down the halls of Cross Academy with my best friend Yuuko, i think of my mother. Her long dark hair, and her sweet scent. I still miss her, even after three years.
Yuuko interrupts my thoughts "Hey Shina, you okay?" I nod and smile. "Oh im fine! I was just thinking about the party next week!" Obviously i wasnt but why would i tell her, we are only friends because it was instructed. My father still owns me, that bastard and he instructed that two girls should be friends, for lady needs.
"Dont you think Zero is cute!?" she asked with anticipation. I noticed that she was blushing and staring at him. He was but i really didnt know him... so i couldnt feel like that. Ive heard that the girl he loved was in love with her brother and she went with him instead. Its not uncommon, but i still wouldnt. He starts to walk over to where we stand.
