"GAHHAH!!", I shout, pain rippling through my body as I open my eyes. Blinding bright lights everywhere I looked, grunting and two powerful auras catch my attention. I look over to find Law-Onii-San and Luffy-kun fighting each other, a bloody fight before the dugong from earlier launches itself between the two. Standing in front of Breed, showing itself fully to his so called master as I feel my wounds pulse in pain, most notably the throbbing in my jaw. The dugong attempts to stop his master, fighting harshly yet not violently against him as his master kicks him off, whipping him harshly.
"Do you want to help them so badly? Alright, if you insist, I'll stop them.", Breed says, ordering the two fighting captains to stop. There is a short moment of triumph in the dugong until Breed starts speaking again.
"Instead, you do it.", he says menacingly, glaring at the two prone captains.
"Since you like them so much, it'll be far more interesting to see you beating them up! Kill those two, dugong!", he orders, causing the dugong to go after the two unwillingly. The seal starts crying slightly before punching a Haki clad flipper at Luffy-San, starting to beat the two captains while he was crying. This... this is terrible! No one should be subjected to harm their friends! No one! I had to move... but it hurt so much... my jaw aches, my leg still hurts if I twist it wrong, my neck hurts as well, my stomach was on fire from the two kicks to it, my back... where do I start with that? The whip mark near my neck or the one near my butt? They all stung and bled continuously.
"Now, throw them into the sea!", Breed orders, no! There's no way they could survive that! They're both devil fruit users like me!!
"L-Law... O-Onii... s-San... L-Luffy...", I breathe, unable to get up from my wounds as the blast causes my ears to ring. I breathe slowly, trying to gain my bearings and collect myself to fight Breed, only to notice something odd.
"Th-their... auras...", I whisper, they were alive! I could still sense their presences, however fading they were still alive! Their presences grow stronger, stronger still until...
"L-Law-Onii-San!*cough cough!* you're o-Okay!", I shout, crawling my way to them as the dust from Luffy-Sans Haki blast settles. I see his mouth move but no words came out, my ears must have been blown out by the force of the dugong's punch. I look to where Breed stood, seeing his mouth move but no sound at all. I easily make my way to Law's feet, pulling myself up slowly as he steadies me. I look to Breed to see his dumbstruck face, even the animals looked surprised that I was still alive.
"I don't know what happened, but I'm still alive and kicking. I'll pay you back for those kicks, and then some you bastard!", I shout angrily, pulling out Shirokuro gently.
"That blast punch from the dugong earlier blew out my ears, can't hear anything from your filthy mouth.", I sneer, pulling out all my blades as I glared at the unmoving Breed. The room suddenly gets dark, but quickly gets bright with purple lights as Breed uses his power on himself, not too smart in my opinion as he grows in muscle mass and size. Suddenly, all the previously unconscious sea bunnies start floating up in the air, their collars red now like the one around Breed himself. The floating bunnies fly towards us, I couldn't think of doing anything but dodging the animal bullets as I didn't want to hurt them, they only did what their master ordered. I spot the beaten Chopper-San on the floor about to get hit by a flying bunny, acting fast I jump towards him, catching him before he was hit and shielding him from further harm as my leg twitched in pain. I feel a pair of arms softly pick me up as I held Chopper-San close, not looking away from the kung fu dugong who was speaking, trying to grasp the situation from sight as I couldn't hear still. Whatever he says rouses the other animals into looking for a kill, Breed's kill. Suddenly two of the blue bunnies fly into Breed's hands, he then makes a tornado out of the two which pulls in all the other animals. It takes a few but the animals stop him from spinning, causing the windstorm to die down immediately.
"Che! This I guess, will be left to those two then.", I say, tucking away my blades as the arms hug me closer while Luffy-San and the dugong punch Breed right in the stomach and send him flying out of the ship. Suddenly a rush of sounds scares me, making me accidentally drop Chopper-San in my surprise.
"Hey! Taiga-Chan! Why'd you drop me?!", Chopper-San shouts, wait! I could hear again!
"I can hear again! The blast must've helped my ears regain its bearings!", I cry happily before someone else picks up Chopper-San as the collar around our necks break, leaving us free as pirates again. We head back to the submarine, the animals following us closely as the arms flip me around.
"L-Law-Onii-San! Are you okay?! You're bleeding again! Not when I just patched you up!", I exclaim, spotting the numerous spots of blood on him.
"Taiga... I'm... I'm sorry for hurting you like that... I had to pretend that I was under his orders... so we could beat him...", Law says, tears leaking from his eyes as he held me out.
"Eh? That was... that was nothing compared to what you've faced Onii-San! It didn't even hurt!", I say, crossing my arms in defiance as he tears up even more.
"You... you're so...", Law starts, unable to finish his sentence before hugging me close and placing his hat on me. We head into the sub as the animals make a huge wave for us to ride back to the sunny, Law still had me in his lap and with his hat on as his drive is back with minimal effort. We make it back in no time as the animals crowd around the ship, speaking about the way to get to Dressrosa.
"Huh? Just straight from here? I can't wait!", I exclaim, overhearing the conversation as I sat in Law's lap, happily still wearing his hat. Morning breaks beautifully, marking our first day with the Strawhat pirates. I wave goodbye to the animals as they swam into a different direction, this was pretty fun but I might have opened up a few old wounds. The morning paper drops on the deck, Brook-San finding it first.
"Gagh! My back...", I say, rubbing my throbbing back.
"Ah! That's right! Taiga-Chan! Get over here! You need medical help, especially for those whip marks. And I'll have to check your jaw and stomach for those kicks, by the way, Luffy! Apologize for kicking Taiga-chan in her jaw! Even if it was because of that guy's orders she's still hurt!", Chopper-San orders, pointing to a spot on the plush deck.
"I'm coming! Hup!", I reply, trying to jump off of Law's lap but he catches me at the last moment before gently placing me where Chopper-San had instructed before placing his hat snug on my head as he walked back to Brook-San.
"Your shirt, and lift this side of your pants, I need to check on your leg as well.", he says, pulling out his medical kit as I pull off my tattered shirt.
"Geez! You really took a beating didn't you? Don't worry, I'll help with the pain but no sparring until I tell you too!", he says, working on my back.
"Tell that to Zoro-San, also is it bad that I can't feel anything you're doing to my back?", I ask, turning to see what he was doing from the corner of my eye as the others crowd around the newspaper laid in front of us. I blank out, focusing on everyone's energy and honing my Haki slightly and expanding the reach. I concentrate hard on each persons auras, quickly associating each fun aura with the person until Sanji-San announces he's making sandwiches.
"I want rice balls Sanji-San! No sour stuff in it!", I shout, jumping up from my spot and heading into the kitchen with the others.
"Hey! I'm not done with treating your whips marks!", Chopper-San shouts, catching everyone's attention.
"Whip marks? What happened Taiga?", Zoro-San asks, he and the others were looking either to me, Luffy-San, or Law.
"Breed had a whip and whipped me, just because I cut him twice, he was so mean! I don't like him at all!", I huff angrily, sitting back down angrily as I puffed out my cheeks angrily, Law's hat drooping to cover one of my eyes.
"Ah, So no sparring match today then?", he asks as I fix the hat again.
"Nope! Doctors orders, sorry Zoro-San!", I answer happily, looking over to find the deck was empty save for me, Law, Chopper-San, and Caesar.
"I'll take the same thing as Taiga.", Law says, placing down his sword near the kitchen door before lifting me up in his arms and carrying me in.
"Hey! I wasn't done yet! Her back still needs more antiseptic!", Chopper-San shouts, running after us as Law places me on his lap.
"She's fine, if anything I can fix her up.", he says as Sanji-San places a large plate of rice balls in front of us.
"Thanks Sanji-San!", I exclaim happily before taking one and digging in. I tune out of their conversation slightly, happily munching on the rice balls until I hear Law speak.
"Zou?", he asks, making me look up from my meal.
"Do you know it?", Kinemon asks, chewing on a sandwich.
"Hey, isn't that where Bepo-San and the others are?", I ask, remembering slightly about that.
"Yes, after handing over Caesar and destroying the SMILE factory, we will head over there.", he answers, grabbing a napkin and wiping my face with it.
"I-if so, can we go along with you there?!", Kinemon asks, standing up from his chair only for Luffy-San to answer him.
"Heh?", I ask, taking a bite of my third rice ball only for Kinemon and Momo-Chan to bow their heads on the table while they said a short thank you.
"Geez, you guys really are too much... anyways, AACHOO!", I start before getting cut off with a sneeze.
"Oh my, Taiga, are you feeling okay? Let me feel your forehead.", Law says, handing me his rice ball as he places a hand on my forehead.
"I'm fine Law, just need... a nap...", I say, yawning slightly.
"You're burning up, take a nap for now.", he says, taking the two rice balls from my hands and turning me to face him.
"Mmkay... night Law...", I whisper tiredly, hugging him close as I snuggled into his chest. I hear someone fart loudly, making me tuck my face more into his jacket to block the smell before drifting off...
