Taiga's POV!
"As if I'd let you kill him!", I shout angrily, my growl increasing in volume as this joker guy laughs and smiles at me.
"Joker! Kick these guys asses already...", gas bastard shouts before Onii-San pulls him down via his long scarf.
"I'm not gonna hand him over to you! You didn't do anything that I asked you to! Doflamingo! This deal is off! Taiga! Protective stance!", Law shouts, making me jump back to his side.
"Yes captain!", I shout in affirmation, pulling out Akaoni in preparation.
"No! Wh-what're you talking about, you fool?! We got this far!", gas bastard shouts angrily, my growling focuses on him now before turning back to the group in front of us.
"Is that how you talk to your boss after 10 years of silence? Leave him, Law. Caesar is one of my precious subordinates.", Doflamingo says, laughing his normal laugh as gas bastard fanboys over being called precious.
"Issho-San, it's Caesar clown who is with Law and that kid.", I hear one of the navy guys whisper.
"I see. He is the scientist from the poison gas incident... but if he is that warlords subordinate, he is not going to get charged. They'll grant him amnesty.", Fujitora says in confirmation, I knew that bastard had something to do with that.
"It's you! You are Fujitora, appointed as a navy admiral through the world military draft.", Doflamingo says, I knew that as well, I kept track of this kind of information just in case.
"I hear a lot about you. They say you're a monster who has unquestionable power as well as Ryokugyu.", Fujitora says, a small conversation starting between the two.
"Oh, why thank you. Don't play dumb.", Doflamingo says, they seemed rather friendly but I didn't much care as I still stayed in a protective stance in front of gas bastard and Law.
"I'm still new to the navy so it's hard for me to understand what you're doing. I don't have enough evidence yet but I have some information about you doing things that go against the rules of the seven warlords. That man right there was calling you Joker- is that your nickname?", Fujitora asks, he had been drafted awhile ago after Akainu rose to power.
"If you want to investigate me, you have to be really determined and collect enough evidence. Now, what's the navy's decision about Law's punishment?", Doflamingo asks, holding up a weird looking hand after a few tense seconds.
"Regarding the news about you and the wanted pirates, the Strawhats, if you're allying with them as they say in the news, then you're guilty! If they had become you're subordinates, Law-San, you're... not guilty! Our mission depends on your response. We may have to arrest you and the Strawhats, even that kid there shall be arrested.", he says, a-arrested?! I faulted slightly, my mind flashing back to my island before I grit my teeth in anger and fear.
"H-Hey, What kind of decision is that?! He can just get away by lying!", gas bastard shouts angrily, focusing on the navy.
"Well Captain, there goes that plan... now we've got the navy on our tail too...", I whisper, shaking my head at the turn of events.
"The Strawhats are not working under me! We're allies as you read in the paper!", Law shouts, so he must be buying time.
"You're such a clumsy man!", I hear Doflamingo say, clumsy my ass, I know he's thinking about his options right now.
"Then, we have to strip you if your title. It'd be nice if the story ended there but...", Fujitora says, slashing downwards quickly with a purple energy surrounding him.
"What the?", I ask softly, looking up into the sky.
"No way.", Law says, looking up to the sky like I was.
"That's a meteor... what kind of power is that? A devil fruit nonetheless, a strong one.", I reason, jumping back onto Law's back and pulling up my cast.
"Is it a meteorite?!", Law exclaims, staring at the impending fireball.
"D-don't be ridiculous!", gas bastard shouts, not even paying me any mind before running away into the forest.
"You've got to be kidding!", Doflamingo shouts, staring at the meteor too as the navy guys run away for fear of getting burnt to a crisp.
"Taiga! Room!", Law shouts, slashing the meteor in two.
"Gotcha Captain! Block!", I shouts, writing a B with my left hand. In the wake of the meteor crash, only Law and I, Doflamingo, and Fujitora stood on ground, unless you called Law's back ground.
"How did the fleet admiral train you?!? You damn stray dog!!", Doflamingo shouts angrily as my cast fades, the shield made of my cast disappearing as well.
"It doesn't matter if he can see or not.", Law says, patting me on the head.
"Oh, thank you. I just wanted to test your skills. Now, I'm going to arrest you and that girl, she is a part of your crew is she? Is it okay, Law-San?", Fujitora asks, prompting Law to seize up.
"Don't tell me you're thinking you can get away from me.", Doflamingo says, making Law glare at him. Fujitora slashes the air for a bit before sheathing his sword, causing another meteorite to fall on us.
"I've got this one, rest for now.", I whisper to Law, he nods slightly and let's me jump off his head.
"Flash style: dark strike!", I shout, slashing the meteor in two at the middle and stunning everyone but Law who wears a proud smirk.
"What a strong little girl... is she really just a little kid?", I hear someone say as I fall back on Law's shoulders.
"I taught you well...", Law says, petting me on the head as the others stared in shock.
"Looks like I'll have to kill the girl too if she's really with you, Law.", I hear Doflamingo say, hmph! How rude!
"Bullet string!", he says, I block it from hitting me easily with Shirokuro but it forces Law to jump to better ground as shots rain down on us.
"Run, run, run!", I shout, prompting Law to run into the forest as Doflamingo is on our tail, a sinister smile on his face.
"You two wanna play tag?", he asks, his crazed smile told me otherwise.
"I'm good at tag! Let's see if you can catch us!", I giggle, my way of easing Law's fears as I transform into a bigger fox capable of carrying Law and disappear into a sprint. I dodge the bullet strings headed our way easily, a foxy smirk on my face.
"Taiga, keep running. When we're over this battle I'll give you all the candy you want, especially the mochi.", Law says, prompting me to run faster at the thought. I jump over a few vines, two of the three getting sliced to pieces as Doflamingo catches up to us in this dense forest. I stop, sensing something dropping down before barely dodging them, pieces of a cut vine falling down and nearly crushing us.
"I'm not going to let you have it your way.", Doflamingo says, cornering is as the navy approaches from the other side.
"That's an interesting devil fruit you've got, brat. Dog-dog fruit model: forest fox, am I right?", Doflamingo asks, I don't respond, unable to talk in this form instead I show him a fox like smirk that neither answers nor opposes the question before shifting back to human form.
"Sorry, that's not the full name, it's actually... the dog-dog fruit model: mystic fox! Cast! Shift!", I shout happily, switching me and Law with two pieces of vines before sprinting away again.
"Why are you trying to buy time, Law? Why's this little girl helping you? I'm sure you two are up to something.", Doflamingo says, following us rather closely.
"Good job Taiga, keep this up.", Law encourages, carrying me since I was starting to get tired.
"Law, Fujitora is above us. Be careful.", I warn, before pulling up my cast and blocking Fujitora's aerial assault with it. We get propelled down a large vine and onto the ground harshly as the shockwaves from Fujitora's attack hit us, the transponder snail ringing once we reach the bottom.
"What's wrong? Hurry up and answer!", Law says, he must have pulled that out when I was blocking the aerial attack.
"Taiga, do you still sense them?", he asks me before a huge meteorite hits us, burning my jacket and hair.
"You're merciless.", I hear Doflamingo say over the ringing in my ears.
"Owie, my ears... Yes I sense them, still on the island.", I answer, taking note of some injuries here and there on me.
"I'm simply clumsy.", Fujitora says, my ears were sharp even in the aftershock of a meteor hitting us as we hide behind a tree/vine.
"Why won't you answer, Nami-ya? I know I've got the right number!", he shouts angrily, a meteor almost hitting us again.
"You focus on running, I'll focus on the call!", I say, grabbing the transponder snail from him after we land. Sprinting away from the assault as the snail keeps ringing, vines falling around us and almost catching us a few times.
"Law! Doflamingo is ahead! Turn the other way!", I warn, causing him to stop and run in another direction as Doflamingo slashes the vines around us that barely miss us before blocking our way with a few guest vines.
"What are you two gonna do?! There's nowhere to run!", Doflamingo shouts, laughing sinisterly while walking casually to the huffing Law.
"Hey, Joker! Before you kill them, I need you to take something back for me!", gas bastard shouts, running in from wherever he was hiding and interrupting the exchange.
"It's my heart! Law took my heart! I don't know what he's gonna do with it and I'm sure that girl is in on it too!", he shouts, leaving a distraction for us.
"Cast! Shift!", I shout, switching us with a piece of vine that was nearby before Law sprints away.
"He's gonna have trouble catching us since our devil fruits are similar, I can let you rest while I fight and while I rest you can fight.", I reason, slightly tired from earlier but still going strong.
"Getting tired yet Taiga?", Law asks, still running away from Doflamingo.
"Not really.", I answer, keeping track of everything around us.
"Eh? Chopper-San?! Here Law, explain!", I shout confusedly, handing the snail to Law as I sense someone approaching us.
"Is this Tony-ya?! I don't care what's going on over there! Listen carefully!", Law says, very panicked sounding seeing as we were being chased by both the navy and Doflamingo.
"What?! Is this Traffy?!", Chopper-San asks, that nicknames though was always hilarious.
"Law! Meteor! Run now!", I shout, using block to minimize the damage as he was talking.
"What are you doing, Traffy?! Come back to the ship already!", Nami-San says over the ringing in my ear, that last meteor had barely missed us.
"We turned into art! Help us!", Brook-San cries, art?
"I-I'm Just Fine!", Momo-san's voice chimes in embarrassedly, he was safe that's good.
"Huff huff... listen, we need you to... sail the ship to Green bit now! We have to leave Caesar with you guys! I can hand you to Taiga to fill you in but she's busy protecting me from meteors! Come to Green bit now!", Law orders before hanging up, still sprinting away from danger.
"Bullet string!", Doflamingo says, a piercing pain hits my already wounded leg after hitting Law's shoulder behind of it making us stop suddenly and turn to face the so called demon.
"Grr... That leg just healed up too...", I whisper, spotting the blood leaking out of my new wound.
"It's no use, you two! Who did you just call for help? Give me back Caesar's heart already. It's so meaningless for you two to keep hanging on here. Your partner- Straw Hat has already walked into the trap that I set up. He's now fighting in the gladiatorial contest at the colosseum. Tough contenders from all over the world come to fight in that outlaws- only, deadly competition. When someone loses, it's a one way ticket to hell. He will never come out of that coliseum alive. It's the end of your alliance. Law! Just give up!", Doflamingo laughs, that idiot of a pirate!
"I have no interest of your past but... only people who can use the world government just to deceive us are... the celestial dragons!", Law says, making Doflamingo Stop in his tracksand smile sinisterly.
"So what?", he says before launching strings at us, sharp as swords that Law dodges. The vines behind us get slashed to pieces as we land behind those now destroyed vines but Doflamingo disappears from our sight.
"Law, above us! Move move move!", I shout, sliding down to his back instead of his shoulders so I could hold on better as we dodge a rain of razor like strings which then change to large pieces of the cut up vines which I jump off of Law's back and slice some in half. A strong line of strong catches Law's sword, sending him backwards along with the two pieces of vines he dodged.
"Heeheehee, such a cute little girl... too bad you work for this bratty captain of yours... I could have made you better than he can...", Doflamingo says, restraining Law to the vine as I land nearby and try to saw through the strings.
"These things are too strong... think Taiga think...", I whisper, thinking of a way to get Law out, he still had some energy but was completely trapped, sword and all.
"You can't buy anymore time you two...", Doflamingo says, stalking up to us as I try to think of a way out for Law.
"You said' it's too complicated' earlier. What did you mean by that?", Law asks the stalking demon, blood trickling down his face from the numerous meteors he had escaped from.
"If you want to chat with me, hand over Caesar first. And his heart then maybe I'll consider leaving the girl alone.", Doflamingo prompts, stopping a few yards away from me.
"Caesar is... I mean, those SMILEs are that important to you?!", Law asks, smirking at Doflamingo's halt and frown.
"So without those SMILE fruit, isn't your client, Kaido gonna be mad? Then it's game over for you isn't it?", I ask, giggling softly at his menacing figure instead of cowering in fear as he stares at me with a scowl on his face...
