*Taylor's POV*

I sat on the couch next to Dillon, who was sprawled out making himself comfortable while we waited for the girls to finish getting ready for the beach. Dillon looked over at me, "You look like a love struck puppy." he said teasingly and I punched his shoulder lightly, causing him to let out a laugh.

"You're one to be talking Dillon, you're practically drooling over Christine." I shot back and he rolled his eyes. The both of us looked up when the front door opened. We watched as it opened to reveal a disheveled Melody and a smirking Johnson.

"Nice for you to finally show up." I heard (Y/N) say from behind me as her and Christine walked down the stairs. I looked at her for a long moment. She was wearing a cute little sundress over top of her bathing suit. She looked gorgeous, and I wasn't even sure how in the world I was lucky enough to meet her, let alone become friends with her. She was perfect, the way her cheeks flushed red when she got embarrassed, the way she laughed, how her smile could light up a room, just everything about her.

"We... I.. Lost track of time, alright?" Melody stumbled over her words as she walked into the house, wearing one of Johnson's shirts and the same shorts she wore yesterday. Johnson's hair was a mess but he was fully clothed, thank goodness. "Nothing happened!" she said quickly, and Jack almost looked offended when she said that.

"Sure... Nothing happened, mhm." Christine shrugged as she plopped down next to Dillon. I glanced at Dillon and he looked genuinely happy around Christine. I was happy for him, I really truly was. He really did deserve the best; Dillon is a real good kid.

"Yeah, and by 'lost track of time' you mean were way to busy to even look at the time." Dillon said with a smug smile on his face.

"Dillon, you be quiet." Johnson said as he walked in behind Melody.

"Are you guys going to the beach?" Melody asked trying to take the attention away from her and Jack.

I nodded "Yup, you can come too if you like." I told her with a smile.

"Yes, we will definitely come too." Melody said and excused herself to go get a bathing suit. I glanced to the side to see (Y/N) leaning her elbows on the couch right next to me. She was still standing behind the couch where she had been before. I leaned my head on her arm, and she patted my head with a fond smile.

"Oh and you wanna talk about us, I see how it is." Jack muttered, sitting down on the couch.

After about 30 more minutes all of us were finally ready to leave. (Y/N) and I got into her baby blue Bently, which I had to admit was a pretty nice car, but it still wasn't as nice as my Range Rover. Christine and Dillon got into his car, and Jack and Melody in Jack's car. It didn't take very long to get to the beach, although I almost wished it did take longer so I would have more time to talk with (Y/N).

The car ride consisted of talking, singing and laughing. Her voice was adorable and I was pretty sure I could listen to it forever. I had the urge to lean over the console and kiss her but I didn't, not wanting to screw up the friendship that was forming.

"Taylor, take a picture it'll last longer." She joked with a laugh. I realized that I had been staring at her for quite some time, much longer than I should've been.

I laughed, "If you insist." I pulled my phone out of my pocket as she slowed the car to a stop at a red light. She turned to me and gave a goofy grin as I snapped a picture. I showed it to her and she let out a giggle.

"Oh dear, I look great." She commented as she began driving once again.

I nodded, thinking about how she always looked perfect, at least by my standards. "Yes, you do." I added, laughing along with her. I sat back in the seat and looked down at my phone, going straight to twitter. I made a tweet and posted it quickly, knowing she was probably going to mad at me for it later.
