"I'm going to warn you now, my family is.. interesting." Taylor told you as he drove his Corvette down one of the long Princeton roads. Your eyes scanned the outside as he drove; you had never been to Indiana before and you loved seeing new places. That was one of the things you loved most about your job, you got to see many amazing new places.

"That's alright, so is my family." You told him with a giggle. You looked over at him as he briefly glanced at you. He looked at you in a way that made your heart melt. You loved everything about this boy and it almost scared you how fast you were falling for him. Taylor was different, not just in the cliche way you hear people talk about guys but he was truly different for you. You were not the type of girl who went for the crazy, reckless, and a bit impulsive type; you usually went for the sweet, shy, organized and thoughtful guys but there was something about Taylor that drew you to him and he brought out the best in you, which you loved.

"Well, here we are." Taylor announced as he turned into the driveway, pulling you out of your thoughts. You looked up at his house and took it in. You imagined little Taylor running around here years before with a bandana tied nicely around his spiked hair and you giggled. You turned your head to look at Taylor when you felt his warm hand on your thigh. He leaned over to kiss you but quickly stopped when the front door of his house burst open. You looked up to see Taylor's little brother, Tristen run out of the house. Taylor's face lit up as he got out of the car quickly, embracing his little brother in a big hug, swinging him around.

"I missed you, buddy!" Taylor exclaimed as he hugged Tristen. You got out of the car and smoothed out your shirt, getting slightly nervous. You hoped that his family would like you.

Tristen looked over at you. "Is that her?" he asked looking back at Taylor. Taylor chuckled and nodded, looking back at you too.

"Yup, that's (Y/N)," Taylor answered as he let Tristen go. Tristen stared at you for a second before running over to you and hugging your legs.

"Hi, I'm Tristen. Taylor told me a whole lot about you." He told you with a big smile on his face. You pushed a strand of hair behind your ear before grinning.

"Hi, Tristen! It's so nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you! Did you know Jordan's got fireworks?!" Tristen asked excitedly, rocking back and forth on his heels.

"No, I didn't know that. Do you like fireworks?"

"I love them!" Tristen squealed.

You smiled at him and glanced up at Taylor, who was staring at the both of you fondly. He motioned for you to come over to him and you did, Tristen trailing behind you and sneaking his hand into yours, squeezing your fingers tight.

"Wanna go inside? Everyone should be home, the Fourth of July is a pretty big deal around here." Taylor said, tilting his head toward the front door.

"Why would we have come all this way to not go inside? That's crazy, isn't it Tristen?" You asked, looking down at him. He nodded and pulled you and Taylor along toward the front door.

"I like her." You heard Tristen whisper loudly to Taylor who blushed.

"I like her too, little man."

You shook your head with a bright smile and followed Taylor inside, holding the door open for Tristen. A woman with dark red hair stood in the kitchen cooking, her back to you. Taylor went up and hugged her and she let out a noise in surprise before returning the hug.

"Taylor, you're home! We thought you'd be in earlier." She said, patting his back.

"So did we. Traffic was horrible."
