2. Yelling

Possible Trigger Warning: Verbal abuse. Read safely (:

"Hey sweetie, how was school?" Yoongi's mom asks as he enters the kitchen after a long day at school. "H-Hey mom. It was alright.." She just nods. Home is one of the few places Yoongi feels safe.

Sadly, it's not always good though. His parents have a tendency to take their anger out on him for no reason. You never know what kind of day it will be, good or bad, and it can change in a split second.

One wrong word or movement could set them off. His dad is the worst for yelling, which sends Yoongi into horrible panic attacks. His mom yells too, but her poisonous words hurt more than the yelling ever could.

Yoongi gets a drink and goes to his room to do some homework. After about half an hour, he falls asleep at his desk. Sadly for him, he also forgot to clean his room.

Yoongi's mom comes in the room to bring him clean laundry, seeing his messy room. She instantly starts yelling, which wakes the sleeping boy.

"Do you ever clean this dump?! My God, I can't wait to see what your own house looks like if you ever move out. Were you sleeping? Seriously? You're never gonna amount to anything if you don't get off your lazy ass and do something with your life!"

She keeps it up, yelling about how lazy he is, calling him worthless, even throwing in a few insults about how ignorant he is.

(Very important: This is not meant to offend Yoongi or his parents, this is simply made up for the story. No harm is meant towards anyone mentioned)

Yoongi just sits there, holding back tears. Once she sees that he isn't going to say anything, she storms out of the room with one last "Clean up this disgusting dump!"

As soon as his door is closed, Yoongi starts crying. He chokes down his sobs so she won't hear him. His dad not yet home from work, isn't here to help his mother in the attack.

Yoongi calls Jungkook as he gathers all of his books and homework into his backpack. "Yoongi-hyung. What's up- wait you're crying... What happened?"

Yoongi is barely able to get words out without sobbing and hiccuping. "M-M-My m-m-m-o-o-m" Jungkook sighs sadly "Pack a bag bun, don't forget your hygiene stuff. I'll be there in 10 minutes"

Yoongi nods even though Jungkook can't see him. "T-Thank y-y-y-you" Jungkook smiles even though Yoongi can't see him. "Always. Remember bun, I love you"

Jungkook hangs up and rushes to his car while Yoongi grabs a smaller bag for his hygiene products. This is a normal tradition. When home becomes too much for Yoongi, he calls Jungkook and goes to stay with him for a while.

Thankfully, Kooks parents have a soft spot for the poor boy and they let him stay without question. Lost in his thoughts, he doesn't hear his door open and shut. Yoongi exists the bathroom with everything he needs, only to squeak in surprise when he sees Jungkook packing his clothes into his suitcase.

"K-Kookie, I only need a duffel bag for a couple of days" His sobs have slowly turned into sniffles and hiccups at this point. Jungkook looks up, seeing his hyung with his hair a wreck, eyes red and bloodshot, tears all over his face and his upper lip swollen from crying so much and biting his lip to stop the sobs.
