5. Search Party

*BANG BANG BANG*

Yoongi and Jungkook are startled awake. “T-The fuck was that?!” Yoongi asks, feeling scared. Jungkook shrugs before jumping up and running downstairs. Yoongi rushes after him but hides on the stairs in case it's a murderer.

Jungkook rips the door open to see 5 young men standing there, looking worried. “Jungkook-ah! You never texted us to tell us if Yoongi was okay! So, we took matters into our own hands.”

Hoseok explains, seeing the confusion on Jungkook’s face. “I called Namjoon-Hyung-” Namjoon interrupts Hobi. “So I called Jin” Jin just nods. “I called Yugyeom who wanted to bring Mark, YoungJae and Jackson but I didn't know how much backup we would need” Taehyung explains, Yugyeom nods in agreement.

“Backup for what?” Jungkook asks, his brain still foggy with sleep. He didn't wanna deal with this, he just wanted to cuddle with Yoongi and sleep. “To go look for Yoongi-hyung and maybe rip a murderer into tiny little pieces if he hurt said hyung?” Taehyung speaks as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.

The other 4 nod along with him in agreement. “We have never met your mysterious hyung but he means a lot to you and you are our friend so we are armed and ready to track down Yoongi!” Yugyeom speaks up with a huge smile on his face.

Yoongi, who is standing on the stairs where they cannot see him, feels hot tears running down his face. Jungkook smiles at his friends and invites them in. “Yoongi~ Come here bun” He calls his hyung from the stairs, making all the boys gasp.

Luckily Yoongi had already wiped away any sign of crying. He walks over to the group of men shyly and smiles. “He's okay!” Hoseok cheers, all the others join in. Jungkook smiles and back hugs Yoongi.

“Guys this is Yoongi, bun, this is my friends” Jungkook speaks in such a soft tone and is so gentle with the older boy that it melts the hearts of his friends. They've never witnessed this side of Jungkook before (minus Hoseok and Taehyung of course)

Yoongi takes a deep breath before smiling the best he can at the group in front of him. “H-Hi, thank you for taking time out of your days to come l-look for me. I'm sorry that I worried anyone”

The five (mostly) grown men all melt into puddles on the floor. “Awwwww don't be sorry honey! We were more than glad to do it” Seokjin speaks up, making Yoongi blush.

All of the guys introduce themselves to Yoongi, using soft tones like Jungkook. Jin offers to cook for everyone but Jungkook insists on ordering pizza because “Yoongi-hyung always gets pizza on Fridays”

His friends wait until he's left the room to make jokes about how he's whipped. Meanwhile, Yoongi had went to freshen up and change into some jeans and a T-shirt. He was shocked that so many people came looking for him even before knowing him.

Yoongi isn't used to people (other than the Jeons) caring about him. It made him feel warm inside. He fixes his fading mint hair and goes back downstairs. All the boys are in Jungkook’s gaming lounge that his parents sat up for when he has friends over.

Yoongi peeks through the door and sees all of the boys in various locations. Jin and Namjoon are sitting together on the couch, Hoseok is sitting in one of the giant bean bags, Taehyung is picking a movie from the giant selection while Yugyeom and Jungkook are talking quietly to themselves.
