11. Flat Lining

I keep missing the updates! Sorry guys, today is the last day of my semester though so I'm hoping to update regularly after this. Oh and there is only 2 more chapters after this. Ahhhhh !! Lol I hope you enjoyed!!

BamBam swings the blade, aiming for Yoongi’s heart.

*BANG!*

An officer shoots BamBam before he can get to the raven haired boy. His body falls and the officers spread out, two take Jimin, two take Jungkook, three take BamBam and then an officer and an paramedic untie Yoongi and start working on him.

The officers take Jimin’s statement first while the paramedics check Jungkook and make sure he isn't hurt. “Don't worry, it's not my blood” He says glumly. The woman cleaning his face freezes. Jungkook softens and smiles a little. “I beat the butcher unconscious, it's his blood” He points to the body on a table, being strapped down and handcuffed so that if he wakes up, he cannot hurt the people trying to save his life.

The officer shot him in the chest, he shouldn't die, but they're still rushing him to the hospital. The lady takes Jungkook’s clothes for evidence and gives him a new pair of jeans and a T-shirt to wear. Jimin is put into handcuffs even though he isn't yet under arrest, it's for everyone's safety.

They wheel Yoongi out of the house in one of those ambulance beds on wheels. Jungkook rushes to him, even though people try pulling him away. “Yoongi! I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you!” He yells even though there is only a few inches between him and Yoongi.

“I-It’s o-o-okay, Kookie Monster….” He whispers before closing his eyes. “He's flat lining! We need to get him to a hospital ASAP!” The man yells and Jungkook feels his heart break. “No!” He yells as one of the officers grab him to keep him from running after the ambulance.

It was a female officer. Jungkook melts into her arms and sobs. Whisper “No” over and over again.

Yoongi is rushed throughout the hospital and towards a certain room. The doctor stands there, a somber look on his face.

“time of death: 17:50”

….

“We need this room immediately! 20 year old male, tied up and beaten profusely!” The doctor in charge of Yoongi’s care yelled as they wheeled him into the room. The nurses hurry the body of the young girl out of the room. Yet another one of the Boxcar Butchers victims..

Hopefully Yoongi will be the last.

They work on the boy for hours. He had internal bleeding and a pretty bad concussion. They got him patched up finally, the doctor was so exhausted he almost passed out. He knew Yoongi, being a family friend for years, he was sick with worry. The young man's life was in his hands.

He goes to find Yoongi’s family, surprised to not find his parents waiting for him. That's odd, he thinks to himself, but he hasn't spoken to the family in about 14 years either. “Uhm… Family of Min Yoongi?” He calls out. A man and woman rush over as do five young boys.
