I met a boy,
unexpectedly.
the worst way,
to meet someone.
but I don't regret it.
it makes me content
when I think of it,
the memory still fresh
in my mind,
like as if it were yesterday.
he meant so little
but now so much.
from a stranger,
to someone I love.
he means so much,
he will continue to.
he promised me,
he would stay,
and he blew my mind.
a boy so special,
who kept to his promises,
he's one in a million.
hes the only flower in my garden,
I will continue
to water our friendship,
so it grows,
into unconditional love.
he makes not just me
but many, feel loved.
his love is like a medicine,
that this cruel world
really needed.
his love will cure
the war the world is facing,
his love cured me,
his love made me love myself.
hes my best friend,
my most valuable friend.
forever in my heart,
I will keep him.
If I do ever lose,
this gem of a person,
I know it'll break me,
I will look for him
in everyone I meet.
but let us not waste
our time
thinking the negative,
just focus on the positive.
focus on the present,
he is here,
he is the boy
who I love
with all my heart.
And for right now,
right this moment,
he will be the only one,
who I will love, truly and endlessly.
