17: Mind Tricks

Both Mabel and I were on the floor coloring and drawing for a little while, It actually helped get my mind off of whatever happened and hope that I never get it again.

Mabel got up, I looked up at her. "I'll be right back!" she said with a grin turning her heel and walking out into the kitchen. "Okay." I said and with a small smile and went back to drawing again.

I then looked back at Dipper who I caught staring at me and quickly went back to reading the journal again. "You sure do love that book huh?" I smirked.

He didn't look at me he just continued looking at it. "Uh, yeah I do." he said.
I then got up and came over to him, he looked at me raising an eyebrow.

"What?" he asked. "I was wondering if I could ya know look at the book with you? I mean if that's okay."

Dipper blinked for a second and then smiled "Yes! of course!" he had excitement in his voice.

We looked through the book together, I just couldn't believe I was actually looking at the real Journal! I was amazed!

"Whoa, this book is awesome!" I said. "I know right!?" Dipper said back. "Hey (Y/n)?" I turned to look at him. "Yeah Dip Dop, what's up?" I answered. "This may sound crazy but-"

Just then Mabel came back in cutting him off at what he was going to say, we both turned to look at her. "Hey there looooooove birds, whatcha doin'?" She grinned, both of us blushed.

"Mabeeeel!" Dipper yelled.

Mabel just laughed as both of us awkwardly blushed in embrassment.

When Mabel stopped laughing she pulled something from behind her back "Who wants popsicles!?"

"I do!" Both Dipper and I said at the same time, that just became awkward again.

All three of us began eating our popsicles, when suddenly we heard Ford yell from the basement.

"Ahhhh!"

We paused and looked at each other. "I'll go, you guys stay here." I told them. "But-" I cut Dipper off. "Stay."

Dipper crossed his arms and huffed annoyed as I got up from the chair and carefully crept into the basement.

"Ford? You okay?" I called out, I looked back up the stairs to make sure Dipper didn't follow me.

When I saw nobody I looked forward again and proceeded to go into it.

"Ford ar-" I saw Ford laying on the ground unconscious, I panicked running over to him making sure that he was still alive checking his pulse.

And he was alive to be exact. Ford started to twitch his hand causing me to flitch and fall on my ass and scoot backwards.

This wasn't how normal humans wake up, I sensed there was something wrong as he slowly stood up.

My heart beat fast in my chest as I knew exactly what was going on instantly.
I was too shooken up to stand up and run back up the stairs and plus I probably wouldn't be able to make it.

I just backed myself up against the wall as he came closer, a sinister smile spread on his face and of course Bill's yellow glowing eyes, he came even closer reaching his hands out.

"I GOT YOU NOW (N/N)!" He cackled

"Noooo!" I yelled "Leave me alone!" I yelled covering my face.

I then felt his hands choking me. "(Y/n)!" I swatt my hands at him. "Go away!" I yelled more completely ignoring him. "(Y/n)! It's me snap out of it!" He shook me.

I stopped panicking and took my hand off my face. I looked up to see that it was indeed Ford and he wasn't possessed by Bill.

"Oh..." What the hell just happened!? "What are you doing down here anyways?" He asked. "Um, well I heard you yell and I came down here and-" He turned around looking at the mess.

I stood up from off the floor. "Ford I-" I paused when he looked back at me. "Just go back upstairs and don't come back down here again do you understand?" He said.

"But I-" I was cut off. "Do you understand!?" I flinched at his change of tone and nodded. "Y-Yes sir..." I then quickly bolted out of the basement as he went picked up all the mess.

As I was back up into the shack Dipper and Mabel were standing there waiting for an answer of what happened.

"Don't ask you don't wanna know..." I told them as I went upstairs into the attic to go back and clear my head...

It was all just another stupid trick and I fell for it again...

Or at least I think it was...

Ugh again I'm sorry that this takes forever for me to update and all that, I need to just take my time.

Especially when I try to think of what to do, and honestly I'm sorry for my "horrible" grammar as-well my phone likes to autocorrect you know how that is...

Yes I tell people to tell me if you see mistakes but please just don't be a dick about all of it, again just yell at autocorrect not me -w-

I will try to fix everything whenever I finish this book because I don't feel like going through each chapter right now.
