Raelynn
My eyes shoot open at the annoying repetitive sound of something hitting my window. What the heck. I ran my hand through my hair, and glance at my clock. It's 8am. No way I'm getting up for anything. I went to bed last night around 5:30am. I zonked out right as my head hit the soft pillow.
I laid back down, trying to ignore the tapping on my window. It's probably a tree branch.
"Raelynn." Clays voice rang through my head.
What. Hopefully that went through. What could he possibly want from me. They know how late I was up last night.
"Look put your window." His voice answered back.
What. The. Heck.
I threw the covers off of me, and stomped over to my window. I glared down at Clay, Seth, Miles, and Zach.
I opened my window, "What are you doing here?" I asked. I didn't bother whispering. Mom and Steve have probably already seen them by now.
"Time to train, you're already late," Seth spat up at me.
I gave him a cold stare. Training? For what! I remember Jim said something about training yesterday, but I don't remember him saying what it was. "Go away, I'm not going." I started closing my window again. But something stopped it from closing.
Sighing, I turned around, knowing Miles is in my room. He got up here so fast, he jumped up here. I spotted him siting by the foot of my bed, smiling up at me. "Cool room, lovely PJ's," he winked.
I looked down at myself. I'm wearing cheeky gray undies, and a light blue crop top that I threw on last night. I clenched my jaw, "Get out," I demanded, stepping aside from the window. I don't care if I'm in my undies, I'm sure it's nothing he hasn't seen before.
He cocked an eyebrow, and shook his head, no. "No can do. Jim said if you refused to come, like he suspected you would, to just carry you there." He smirked at me, "So I'd change before the carrying starts," he leaned back onto my bed.
I don't care if I'm seen in underwear, it's nothing they haven't seen before, just like Miles here. But I don't want them all staring. I sighed, defeated. "This is bull," I mumbled, walking to my closet.
"Bull what?" Miles asked, amused. His voice sounds darker though, like he was challenging me.
I picked clothes, and turned to him. "Bull poop," I answered. I'm not a big fan of cussing. If there's no need for me to say bad words, I'm not going to. Sure, they're expressive, but they make sentences negative. "Now get out," I said, walking out of my closet. But he was already out.
I looked out my window, making sure he was down there. And they all were. I closed my black curtains, and walked into my bathroom. I brushed my teeth, washed my face, put deodorant on, brushed my hair, but lip balm on, and changed out of all my old clothes, into new ones.
I'm not sure what training is, but I'm guessing it's like work out. Yuck. So I picked black matching Nike shorts and crop top, and paired it with my black Nike sneakers.
I grabbed my phone, and started walking down the stairs. I'm not going to jump out a window. "Hey hun. There's a group of boys waiting outside. Steve talked to them, they said they're here for you," mom raised her eyebrows at me, interested. She's sitting on the couch in her PJ's with a coffee in hand. Looks like a lazy Sunday for her.
I sighed, "Yeah, school project, I gotta go." I gave her a small smile before hugging her.
"Rae, they're so cute! Are you sure it's just a project, they can come in if they want, I'll make cookies-"
