CHAPTER 1

{YOUR POV}

I sighed as I stand in front of the gates of grand line high. I knew the moment I step in, it would start. But I had to go anyway. With one last sigh, I stepped in. I made my way through the crowded hallways. I entered my first class, biology, I knew that HE would be there, watching me. Luckily, he was not here yet, so I took a seat next to the window.

The class soon started to fill up and Ms. Nico entered the class and started the lesson. He still didn't come yet. 'Maybe he will not come today,' I thought. Just when I thought he won't show up, the door opened and came in none other than my bully and crush, Trafalgar Law. "Mr. Trafalgar, you are late today," Ms. Nico said to him. "I'm sorry Miss Nico –ya, I will make sure it will not happen again" he said.

Miss Nico nodded in acknowledgement. "Okay, you may now take a seat next to miss(L/N), now." When she said that, I realized that the seat next to me was the only empty seat left. Law nodded and made his way to the seat, smirking at me, that same smirk that made me melt and shiver with fear at the same time.

He sat next to me and started taking notes, I would glance at him at times and find him staring at me with his signature smirk. I would get self-conscious and nervous, but I was able to get what Ms. Nico was saying, and took notes.

The class soon ended and I was packing my things, ready to leave. Just when I was about to leave, I saw a piece of paper under the seat which Law sat on. I picked it up and went out of the class. I went to my locker and put my books in, then opened the paper. There was something written on the paper, which I didn't give my attention to, because the name caught my eye. It was written as ''Trafalgar D. Water Law'' 'Law has a D in his name?' I thought. The people who have a D in their name were the most dangerous people. Like one of my closest friend, Ace's father, Gol D. Roger. He was a very powerful man. I was staring at the paper, that I didn't realize someone enter the room.

The paper was suddenly snatched from my hands. I looked up to see none other than Law himself, giving me a death glare. "What were you doing with this paper?!" he asked me with his voice laced with hatred. "I-I-I'm sorry!" I stammered. "What did you read in that paper?" he asked me again. "N-nothing!" I lied. "Stop lying y/n-ya!" he exclaimed. I could see the hatred burning in his eyes, but I couldn't help but melt under them. He suddenly grabbed my forearm, sending chills down my spine. "I asked, what did you read in that paper?" His voice was suddenly calm, but laced with venom and bitterness.

"I-I r-read y-your name" I quietly whispered. His grip in my arm loosened, but he kept me in place.

"Don't tell that to anyone." He warned me. That's when I snapped and replied back "You think I will keep that secret of yours after all that you did to me?" I asked him. He looked at me and smirked. "How about I make it up to you?" he asked. So, being the nice person I am, I nodded. His smirk only grew wider, as he grabbed my wrist and pulled me along with him......
