Meera's throbbing heart is echoing in her. She is trying to bunch up the saree pleats but her anxiousness made her hands go weak. She stumbled on her bed unable to control her overwhelmed heart, leaving out a quiet sigh Meera looked at the ceiling. She placed her hand on her chest to feel her pounding heart.

Am I overreacting? She asked in a doubt.

No dear!! You should be pretty for your love, her heart kindly encouraged her.

Yes, you're overacting, anyways apply some makeup, her mind advised.

After so much of struggle, she draped the saree around her petite yet curvy body. She sat before her dressing table and looked herself in the mirror her blushed cheeks and a small smile over her lips, made her look different, it gave a gorgeousness that she lacked for all these days. Her small fingers trailed over her cheeks and she realized how much she is waiting to see Vikranth.

For three years she never cared about her looks, her broken heart just stuck her in the broken state where Vikranth left her and didn't allow her to move further.

But now she wanted to smile, she wanted to be beautiful again for her life, for Vikranth. Perhaps this is the reason for her waiting, this is the way she wanted to live, wanted to be beautiful only for Vikranth.

In her life, Meera loved him, loving him and will love only him, even she try for thousands much of time to forget him, she can't think anyone beyond him. Vikranth...he is the end and the beginning of her love.

She applied a light pink lipstick to highlight her lips. She braided her hair and she looked whether she's normal or looking weird. She wanted to be beautiful and at the same time, she doesn't want Vikranth to think that she applied makeup for him.

After all touch ups and smiles Meera came out of her room. She checked her phone for the time and it showed 6.35 in the evening.

She knows Vikranth will arrive before 7.00pm. She seated on the couch and waited silently yet impatiently. To pass the time Meera turned on the TV and while changing channels she stopped when she saw Vikranth's father face.

He's addressing the reporters for this sudden increase in taxes. The reporters questioning him without a stop and he's calmly answering with a smile on his face that is abnormal for Meera to believe.

She felt is he really a good person or acting to be one. But it is only up to him.

She looked at the watch again and noticed the time as 7.16pm. She stood up instantly and went outside to sit, wait for Vikranth.

It is a very cold evening the security guard glanced her and gave a small smile and Meera smiled back.

After sitting for ten minutes, she decided to call Vikranth because she can't wait any longer, it is suffocating her. But before she can proceed anything the horn sound paused her thoughts. She gazed at the gate to see Vikranth's car entering the compound. She immediately rouses up in an eagerness.

Vikranth got down from the car fixing eyes on Meera. He gave a wide smile with full of colors, butterflies, and peace.

Purple shirt, rolled sleeves, black pant, black polished formal shoes, tanned skin, tired eyes yet with a refreshing smile, Vikranth walked towards Meera taking slow and steady steps.

Meera was just frozen in that spot, unable to do anything, her face plastered with a small smile, her eyes pleased Vikranth to hug her quickly, and Vikranth dropped the bag and embraced her without wasting a single minute.

That moment everything halted and only his heartbeat filled in her world. Vikranth hugged her tight as much as he could, his arms encircled her in a possessive way, and that showed how much he missed her these days.
