Are you doing alright?
I'm wondering why
You've gone back to your old life.
How are you now?
Are you still the same?
I'm wondering if
To God you still pray.
Do you still take time
To hear what He's got to say?
How are you now?
Are you not shedding tears?
I'm wondering if
You're happy in that way of living.
How are you now?
Are you truly satisfied?
I'm wondering why
You asked for my advice.
'Cause you just threw it away
And still chose what you feel right.
How are you now?
Are you feeling great?
I'm wondering if
You've forgotten that God cares.
How are you now?
Are you needing help?
I'm wondering what I didn't do
To prevent you from straying.
Have I not prayed enough
To protect you from sinking?
How are you now, my friend?
I hope to hear from you again.
My soul grieves for you right now.
You're someone I greatly care about.
My efforts might not be enough
To get you out of that dark path.
But God's light can easily swallow
That blinding darkness you follow.
He will take you out of that muddy place.
My friend, He can reach you with His grace.
