Does the darkness that haunts you
Consumed the last rays of hope?
Are your eyes tired of crying?
Do you know not where to go?
Do the burdens you carry
Pull you down on the ground?
Are the problems approaching
What you’re panicking about?
My friend, worry not
We have a God strong enough
He will supply you
With strength to overcome
Be still, weary heart
God’s got you out of harm’s way
No one’s going to snatch you
Not from His hand; you are safe
Trust Him, anxious mind
Think of all the miracles He’s done
You are not far from Him
His promise to you shall come to pass
Be strong, little soul
You are precious to our Father
Whatever comes your way
He’s there to rescue you again
So, let His Love
Cover all your sins
Take your fears away
He is God; let Him be
Let no shadow of doubt
Blind your eyes to see
The miracles He will do
That will give Him glory!
Rest assured
My dear friend
He cares for you
Don’t be afraid
God can reach you
Wherever you may be
He hears all of your prayers
Even those you hide from Him.
