The Mercenary Camp

After the rebellion struck by the Hosue Bavera, Princess Erraa is struggling to escape through the occupied castle..

A Baveran soldier confronts her in a one on one combat and swings at her head but she's quick enough to dodge. Alex kills two other Baveran soldiers and Issac makes his way through to open the front door. Erraa, Alex and Issac are somehow able to escape..

Prince Marco: (to the soldiers) go find her and kill her on the first sight.

The soldiers leave to find the Princess.

Issac tells Erraa to hide in the nearby forest so that the soldiers may return to the castle without finding them.

Two days pass....

Issac: My princess, we have to leave now.. The armies must had have traced us and they could find us!

Erraa: Where'd we go? There are Baveran armies everywhere, looking for us.

Issac: Let me think..

Alex: Erraa, there is a Mercenary Camp nearby. We can go there and ask for the help. Hopefully we can find shelter there..

Issac: You fool!! You want to get us killed? There'd have been orders to kill us on the first sight. We can't risk our lives specially when dealing with those bastards!!

Erraa: Alex is right Issac! We've to do this. We can make some allies, we can find shelter. And as far as our lives are concerned, we've to fight together, to live!!!

Issac: (pained expressions on his face.) As you order, MY QUEEN!!!

Erraa: (stunned) Q..QUEEN?

Issac: Yes Erraa!! (Taking a sword out) This sword was given by your mother to me when I was her royal guard. I vowed to protect her but today I failed...

Erraa: (watching in disbelief)

Issac: ... but today I vow to protect your life at any cost. Even if the cost is my own life.. You're my QUEEN from this day to the day, I close my eyes forever!!

Erraa: I trust you Issac!! This is why I decided to go to the Camp!

Alex: Let's go now!!!

They reach the camp after sometime..

Erraa is stunned to see that there are thousands of armed mercenaries eating, drinking and dancing like fools..

They are welcomed by a wild looking woman and a physically strong man..
They tell their names and ask them the reason they travelled for..

Man: My name is Jack and this is Leona! Tell us the reason that have brought you here.

Erraa: We wanted to talk to your leader.

Jack: And why should I allow you to do so?

Erraa: Because I am the QUEEN of Floodholt!!

Jack: (pale expressions on his face) P..Pardon me your majesty! This way!!

He points them towards the central camp where a Bulky and angry looking person is sitting and to his right is a well dressed warrior!

Jack: Your Highness, this is our leader, Neil!!

Neil: I've heard about the rebellion and the killing of your mother!

The man sitting on the right speaks.

Paul: My name is Paul Steeling. What brings the Queen of Floodholt here??

Erraa: We wanted to make some good and powerful alliances in order to retake our kingdom!

Neil: You want us to fight for you? And why should we do so?

Erraa: Because I know that the people sitting outside, want freedom.

Neil: W-WHAT???? You said FREEDOM???

Erraa: Yes! Freedom!!

Neil: You want my slaves to fight for you? Then you'll have to beat me in a one on one combat. You win & get all my men and kill me but if I win, you too will be my slave!

Issac: (angry look on his face) My Queen, let me fight for you and kick that bastard's ass.

Erraa: I appreciate your passion Issac. But I can't risk anyone else's life for my war! I have to earn these people's trust and I can do that by fighting myself!!

Isaac: (grieved) Your orders are final, My Queen!

Neil: (foxy smile) I'll beat you tomorrow morning. Sleep well my lady as it is your last night as an independent woman!

The next morning...

The word spreads like a fire in the woods.. People start to gather at the time for the fight.

Issac comes in Erraa's tent. Erraa sits prepared, deep in thoughts.

Issac: The day has arrived Erraa!! Go and make me proud..

Erraa: This is my first fight in the struggle to regain my kingdom! I'm going to make my mother & you proud!

Erraa & Issac come out of the tent. Alex gives Erraa a nod of approval.

Erraa gets prepared for the pre-combat speech.

Erraa: (very loud and clear) I am the Queen Erraa of Floodholt. Today I fight for honor, dignity, to regain my kingdom and to free my people. As you can all see, I fight for myself and I'll fight with all of you in the wars to come. I can't let anyone lose their life fighting my war. I want to free you and join me for taking our homes back.

Crowd starts to murmur.. 

Issac: (whispers to Erraa) I think they're going to be with us.

The combat begins..

Neil has a large hammer in his hands and Erraa fight with her sword. He swings for Erraa's head but she dodges past him. He again tries to hit her in the head but she's quick enough to get aside. Erraa doesn't attack for quite a time and lets Neil attack which she comfortably keeps on dodging. When Neil looks tired, she aims for his chest which he blocks with his hammer. He punches her in the face and she tumbles to the ground. He grabs her by the hair but Erraa makes such a sharp cut in his leg that he loses the grip & falls.

Erraa: (pointing her sword at his neck) Do you retreat? Or else, I'll cut your throat..

Neil: Please spare my life. I retreat.. I retreat..

A huge cheer rises from the crowd as the crowd starts to chant Erraa's name in delight.

Crowd: Erraa!! Erraa!! Erraa!! Erraa!!
