Cheers filled the empty garage as Ethan bounced the ping pong ball into the red solo cup. This was the third game of beer pong he had played that night. Also, the third game he's won.
Jack pat his friend on the back, smiling as he congratulated him, "Good job man. Don't know what I would do without you."
Ethan laughed, paying no attention to the words coming out Jack's mouth. He kept his eyes trained on the larger crowd as they walked into the connected kitchen. His eyes scanned the room looking for Grayson. Even though he knew his brother wouldn't dare be here, he felt the compulsive instict to look for him. He wanted him to be there.
Jack pushed a red cup into Ethan's hand, who took it and swallowed the cold liquid without a second thought. Remaining in the kitchen even after his roommate left, Ethan continued to pour himself drinks. Within ten minutes he was wasted and stumbling around the house.
An underclassmen ran into Ethan, grabbing onto him with both hands. Ethan growled as he pushed the boy off, "Have you seen Emily?" The boy quickly shook his head as he walked away.
Sighing, Ethan walked around the house before stumbling into Jack. "Hey, dude. Is Emily here?"
Jack shook his head as he looked down at his friend. "I leave you alone for five minutes and you're already wasted? Jesus Christ."
Ethan rolled his eyes and he made his way back into the kitchen, itching to get a drink in his hands. He stopped in his tracks as he saw the blonde haired girl standing in front of the counter. She was wearing a tight black dress that was a little too short. More importantly, she was in his way. Ethan reached around her, grabbing the bottle of vodka as he forced his eyes not to venture across her body. The girl smiled as she introduced herself, "Laura, and you are?"
"Ethan, and I didn't ask you."
Laura smirked as she stepped closer to Ethan, trapping him against the counter. "You didn't have to."
Ethan's lips parted as he caved, his eyes moving down her body as he checked her out. His breath smelled of alcohol and mint as Laura moved in closer. "I heard you were looking for you girlfriend. She must not be a very good one since she didn't want to come here with you."
"I live here," He barked, "She didn't have to go anywhere. She's her own damn person."
"You can do so much better than her, Ethan," Laura smirked as she stepped closer. Her hand moved to his chest as she toyed with his shirt buttons. "She's not here to keep you company, so she can't be that great. I know that if you were my man, I would do whatever you'd want me to."
Ethan rolled his eyes as he nearly let out a growl, "I wanted her to stay the fuck home."
Laura moved her hands farther down Ethan's body as her fingertips ran across his belt. Ethan's eyes fluttered shut in response as he desperately craved the attention. The blonde woman smiled as she moved forward, her lips inching closer to his. Ethan bit his lip, anticipating the girl's next move. Her lips moved down his neck, leaving marks as Ethan let a growl slip from his own lips.
Ethan's body began to tense up as he stabbed back, putting distance between him and the blonde. Laura laughed as she stepped closer, "Come on, Ethan. You didn't invite her for a reason. She doesn't have to know." Her hand slipped inside his own as she led him upstairs, Ethan silent as he willingly followed. Abruptly stopping in the upstairs hallway, Ethan pulled back on Laura's hand as she fell into him. He grabbed her waist and pushed her against the wall. Their lips attacked each other as her hands began to climb underneath his shirt.
Ethan's mind was racing and he couldn't focus on anything. He knew this was wrong. He knew that he should be thinking about Emily. He knew that she was his girlfriend. Instead he found his mind wandering to thoughts about his brother. He knew it was wrong but he wanted his hands on his body instead of Laura's.
