Her parents
They laughed
It's just a phase
Just a young girl
Playing games
With a loaded gun
And a scarred wrist
Her friends
Didn't notice
She wasn't eating
Didn't notice her sleeves
Nor the scars beneath them
She smiled enough
They thought she was okay
Her reflection
Laughed at her
A dying little girl
Her blood dripped down
To tile beneath her
Her bones were protruding
But her reflection showed fat
Her
Collar bones showed
Her thighs didn't touch
Her hip bones were easily seen
Her ribs could be counted
Her mind screamed
In her head she was fat
Her parents cried
Her friends tried
To understand what happened
Her reflection was gone
Her coffin was lowered
Soon all she will be is bones
"I'm thin" her lips mouthed
as she flew into the sky
