In Memory Of....

Y/N POV
Hours after the Thunderjaw attack, We were all surrounding a giant fire, the way the bandits did things was to make a giant fire, then bury the fallen ones after its lit, we make homemade crosses and lamps, after the crosses go in we light a lamp and say a prayer.
Raven was still emotional about losing Halie, she never left my side.
Vernal: all these people lost their lives.....how could we let this happen
Me: there was nothing we could do.....it took us by surprise
John and Katrina Both wrapped their arms around eachother, looking at the fire.
Raven: Halie.....I'm so sorry
Me: I feel as if I'm to blame, I froze seeing her in that position, it brought back memories of the Nuckelavee....
Raven: you can't blame yourself
Me: I want to see her family and tell them that she went out like a hero.....
Raven: Y/N....her parents were killed, just like Vernal, we found her surviving off the wilds.
Me: damn
Vernal: Y/N......do your best to make sure no one else dies
Me: I can't make any promises....but I can try
Raven: everyone.....light your lamps
Everyone lit a fire within the lamp and pushed it into the sky, they floated to where the light was no longer visible.
TimeSkip midnight.
"You could've done something Y/N.....you could've saved us......now we're dead"
I woke up next to Raven, having trouble breathing.
Raven: are you okay Y/N!!?
Me: yeah.....just a nightmare....go back to sleep
Raven: want to talk about it?
Me: sure
John POV
Me: sorry you had to see all of that
Katrina: it's fine.....I've seen death since I was born....how are you holding up, losing your friend and all.
Me: it's fine.....we actually joined the same time, we were childhood friends....I always thought I would be the first to die
Katrina: it's just destiny John...
Me: yeah......I guess you're right
Katrina: lets try to get some sleep, we could use it after today
Me: right
3rd POV
In the distance a sillohuete was watching from the trees.
????: so you survived.....no matter, they will kill you eventually Y/N.....you have my word on that....let's go
Next to her, red eyes opened and the creature growled. It was another ThunderJaw, but it seemed more calm. It went under the person in the tree and crouched. The person jumped off the branch onto its back. As they were walking she said one final thing.
???: sweet dreams Y/N......you'll need it for what's in store for the coming days.....hehehehehehahahahahahaahaha......

They both went into the darkness of the forest.
Y/N POV
I woke up again, Raven was still asleep. She looks cute when she sleeps....you never realize because of all the moving around we do. I'll go hunting, bring us all back something nice.
I got up and left the tent, my katana was ready and everything
Vernal: where are you going so early?
Me: I'm gonna bring back breakfast for everyone....want to come?
Vernal: sure....what are we hunting?
Me: hopefully a boar, they have good sausage
Vernal: what about Bacon?
Me: not enough fat on them for the Bacon.
Vernal: aw
Me: come on, let's go
We both left the camp.
Raven POV
I woke up to see Y/N was gone. No idea where he went, what's he even doing up this early.
Me: Y/N!!?
He was no where to be seen, everyone else was up and ready.
John: anyone see Vernal??
Katrina: I think she went with Y/N.....what for is beyond me
Me: let me know when he gets back.
Bandit: what about breakfast?
Me: the ThunderJaw destroyed all the food in the attack.
Bandit: maybe they went out for food
There was a screaming in the distance, it had to be Y/N.
Y/N *distance*: YOU KEEP STABBING MY ASS
