Alright before this chapter starts I want to apologize for the wait and the wait for some of my other stories, I've been sick for about two days now, I come right home and go to sleep, i just wanted to explain and I hope everyone enjoys it

Y/N POV
Me: why do you stab me? I did nothing to you
Vernal: you kept getting in my way
Me: how the hell do you expect me not to get in your way, I'm leading the way
Vernal: well that's the reason
Me: we just need to get some food, try not to stab my ass again
Vernal: no promises
We made our way through the Forest, it was incredibly quiet, but peaceful.
Raven POV
Katrina: John, photosynthesis occurs mainly in plants
John: why not animals?
Katrina: I truly don't know with that
Me: what are you two doing?
John: Katrina is teaching me about photosynthesis.
Me: alright, have fun with that
I walked around, I looked at Halie's tent, still a shame she went the way she did, Hell, when I passed I wanted her to take over. The tone here is so much different than before. It's quiet, but not peaceful. It's going to take a while for everyone to get over this.
Y/N POV
Me: alright you see that thing over there?
Vernal: a turkey?
Me: if we can get two of those and a few boars we are set up pretty good
Vernal: what if we run into another ThunderJaw?
Me: they're pretty rare in these parts
Vernal: lucky us
Me: lets just move on, this forest can be incredibly unpredictable
Vernal: like that?
I looked to where she was pointing at, it was a Grimm Bunny.
Me: yes, unpredictable like that.....it's incredibly adorable....and most likely dangerous
The bunny looked up and hopped closer. I heard a whistle by my head, Vernal threw her spear at it, killing it.
Me: well.....that's one way of doing it
Vernal: did I do good?
Me: I mean you didn't stab my ass so it wasn't too bad.
Vernal: lets just get our food and go back
Me: find us a boar, use your senses.
She closed her eyes and pointed to the left
Vernal: by the tree
I threw my spear by the tree, hitting a boar
Me: hunters sense, it will always help you, just concentrate and you'll be able to hear anything
Vernal: I'll try and get better at it
Me: don't over due yourself with it, it's a dick when it comes to the depletion of aura....let's hurry and find more food, Its getting dark
Vernal: right
Raven POV
Me: it's getting late, where could they be heading
Katrina: maybe the food is scarce
Me: possibly....I guess while we wait we train
Katrina: what?
Me: we train, it can lead to you unlocking more of your powers.
Katrina: r-right
Me: you can control plants right, I mean you are a spring maiden after all
Katrina: well when Y/N came in that was fear and the vines reacted
Me: learn to control it, you see that lone Beowulf, kill it
Katrina closed her eyes, the wind blew a little harder.
Y/N POV
We kept walking, I heard the ground under me crack
Me: oh no
A giant vine came out of the ground and wrapped around my ankle
Me: oh no
I was lifted and slammed repeatedly into the ground.
Vernal: Y/N are you okay?
Me: DO SOMETHING
She ran up to the vine and cut it.
Me: what the hell was that
Raven POV
Me: you didn't kill the Beowulf
Katrina: sorry Raven, it's just a lot to comprehend with this kind of stuff
Me: that's why we're practicing, Hell maybe you and John could be together forever if you work this right
Katrina: nobody lives forever
Me: I know a few people, now try again
She closed her eyes again.
Y/N POV
Me: ok a vine came out of the ground
I heard the cracking noise again
Me: oh no
A vine wrapped around my neck and started swinging me around, slamming me Into the ground....AGAIN
Vernal: do you need help again
All I could do was choke
