Why can't I be thin, pretty, and tall?
Mirror, Mirror, on the wall
Why when I look at you, I'm as boring as a wall?
Mirror, Mirror, I'm so afraid
Please just help me up today,
Mirror, Mirror, don't tell me lies
Why in the world am I so shy?
Mirror, Mirror, on the wall
If I stop eating will I reach my goal?
Mirror, Mirror, on the wall
Don't you understand what you're showing me is what's killing me?
Mirror, Mirror, I'm done with your games, you don't have to worry about me,
Mirror, Mirror,
Please give me hope the light has gone out.
And finally, after such a long time, the Mirror could no longer see the girl get destroyed,
Her red eyes, and puffy cheeks, the red on her wrists, the bags under her eyes.
So she told her the truth, about her lying face, and gave the girl a loving grace.
My dear child, you beautiful soul.
I show you all of the hate in the world.
You are beautiful beyond compare,
Now lift up your chin and stand with firm feet.
You are strong beyond compare.
Love yourself, like those who love you
Please don't give up, there's some much to spare
And after some time, the girl's shoulders lifted,
no more long sleeves, and no pain to be seen.
And then one day the girl said to the Mirror,
Thank you my Mirror, for breaking me, you made me stronger then you can see
I am no longer broken,
my flames burns inside,
I'm happier than ever.
And I thank you inside.
