Why

Why does the wind make your cheeks red?

Why is water blue,

The ocean cold,

The clouds gray?

Why is the world so big...

Yet so small?

Why do humans destroy,

but at the same time create beautiful things

Why do artists paint?

And writers write?

Why are roses red

And lilies white?

Why are sunflowers weeds?

Is different bad?

Or just different?

Should one try to color in the lines?

What's the difference between dusk and dawn

Why is fire hot?

Why do books make you cry?

Why do you cry?

Why are the clouds gray?

Why does rain pour and not drip?

Why is summer better than spring?

Why?

Why do people get muffled?

Why do people interrupt?

Why does judgment get passed?

Why do people fear...

to be themselves?

Why do stereotypes exist?

Did we make them?

Force them on ourselves?

Why would we set ourselves up for that failure?

Why do people abandon?

Are lone people lonely?

Are loud people overbearing to themselves?

Is that possible?

What is possible?

But why do you flush when happy,

or angry,

or embarrassed,

or cold?

Why does the wind make your cheeks red?

Why does it whistle in the night?

It moves trees and buildings.

Like Willows and Birch?

I love the Willow tree on the lake,

where the water is blue

and the clouds don't sink.

The grass is lively

and the sky is bright.

It all being a calming sight.

The leaves will rustle

giving me a perfect sedate.

Why does this happen?

I will never know,

Like how I never know if I'll stay alone.
