"I kinda wanna beat that nigga up now." Hendrix mumbled, chuckling a little.
"Nah, you don't gotta do that."
I looked at my feet as we walked, feeling slightly resentful.
"Ty, don't be sad. Fuck Noah. That nigga is ugly anyway."
I giggled, laughing.
"I'm just mad that I wasted 6 months on a dude who already had a girlfriend. I guess the good thing is that I'm not her, cause then I would've been pissed for real."
He smirked.
"Hey, I forgot to ask. The last time we talked, you said you had someone you used to like. And then you never told me who."
My heart dropped. I stayed silent.
"Is it me or something?" he chuckled, jokingly.
I was shitting bricks at this point.
"Wait, for real? Shit.. I liked you too. You should've said something."
I looked away.
"Whatever, it's over now."
"Damn, why you acting like that about it? If you still like me, ion care. We not blood."
"You got a whole girlfriend, don't even entertain the idea."
"Bianca's not my girl. We just talk. But, I'm thinking about cutting her off cause she acting like she my girl and she not. That shit is aggravating."
"That's so mean... she obviously likes you."
"Why you taking up for her when she be talking shit about you all the time?"
"Cause I ain't tripping. She probably just jealous."
"Of what?" he asked innocently.
"Damn, that's how you feel? Okay."
He laughed.
"I ain't mean it like that T."
I didn't say anything. Hendrix stopped walking and grabbed my wrist, making me stop too.
"Tyla." he groaned, putting his face close to mine.
"Get out my face."
He tilted my chin to face him and stared at my lips. Hendrix exhaled heavily, then put his hand down.
"You wanted to kiss me?" I asked, smirking.
"Yeah, but I ain't going to."
"Why?"
"Cause I feel like that would be taking advantage of you. You emotional right now."
I rolled my eyes.
