Double Trouble (4) (Blood Moon)

(Jesse's POV)

It's been two days now that Jessica been living with us now! She had been getting along with everyone perfectly! She usually spends time in our library looking for books to read and sometimes run into Lukas in the library and they talk. I mean out of all of them she gets along with him the most. But it was just a typical day like a normal.

We were all hanging out in the living room, then Olivia came in. "Guys! Guys! There's a blood moon today!" Exclaimed Oliva in an unexciting voice. We all groaned because we hated the Blood Moon. "Ugh! That's way too many monsters even for me to handle!" Petra groaned. Just so you know "Blood Moon" is a red moon and millions and millions of monsters come.

My thoughts were interrupted by Jessica who was excited about a Blood Moon. We all looked at her like she was crazy! We could not believe she loved monster hunting with a million monsters! "You'll get tired of it because we have it once a month." Axel said. Jessica's eyes basically lit up!

"Really?!! I only get it once a year in the city!" Jessica said. "Lucky!" The whole order said. She rolled her eyes and sat up from the couch."Y'know there was a game me and Daniella used to play on Blood Moons." Jess said. "What is it?" Asked Petra.

"Me and Dani would have a compention or whatever, to see who can kill the most monsters." Said Jessica. "I usually win!" Said Jessica with a sigh and a sad look on her face. "What's wrong?" asked Lukas. "I can't believe I bailed on my friend!" Jessica said. "What do you mean?" Asked Petra.

"She's my friend! I promised her I would go hunting with her this year!" She exclaimed. "And now I'm here with a brother and great new friends!" Jessica finished. We all looked at her with a worried look on our faces. "Well, done with that part for a while!" Jessica said. "I'm gonna go get ready for tonight!" Jessica said running to our room.

"She does not let anything get in her way!" Lukas said. "Why you like her?" Petra said. "You are not saying what you think I'm saying!" Lukas said blushing. "Maybe." Petra said rolling her eyes at him. "Well, you do talk to her a lot." I said.

"You make her laugh!" Said Olivia. "Yeah, That's right! You guys nerd out on books every now and then." Axel exclaimed. Lukas sighed. We all knew he developed a small crush on Jessica. We tease him all about since he teases us about our crushes.

"Ugh! Fine! Maybe I've developed a small crush on her! So what?" Lukas said. "FINALLY!" We all shout. "Shush! I don't want her to hear!" Lukas hissed. "Are you ever gonna tell her?" Asked Petra.

"I don't know!" Lukas exclaimed. "Hey, Guys! I'm back!" Jessica suddenly said making us jump. We all looked at her she had her iron sword, a bow, and other things for battle. Jessica looked out the window.

"Sunset!! Woo!" Exclaimed Jessica as she ran to the door. "Jessica!" Petra Exclaimed. "What?" Jessica groaned. "Where's your armor?" asked Petra. "Oh, that! My iron armor is almost broken, so I'm going with my overalls instead." Said Jessica.

"Are you sure? That might not be safe." I said. "I'm not a child anymore "dad!" Jessica sarcastically said. "We can give you some! I said. "Really?" She asked. "Yeah!" I Said.

We all went to our treasure room and I pulled the lever that revealed the armor. "Wow! This is so cool!" Exclaimed Jessica. "Yeah! Gotta thank Olivia for this!" Said Axel. We all laughed. "Well then! Pick any one you like sis!" I said.

(Jessica's POV)

I went up picked one that was called "Dragons bane!" It was cool. Purple-Pink-ish. Jesse picked one out called "Shield of infinity." The rest of the order got into their armor just in time!

The moon started to come out. "Cmon guys!" I exclaimed. We all got out and monsters were overflowing! I ran out with my sword stabbing 2 zombies! "Woo! That felt sooo good" I Yelled.

Jesse shrugged his shoulders and grabbed Petra's hand, and they both yelled "Warrior Whip!" I was confused at first but then I saw Jesse swinging Petra from her sword and then he let go Petra went flying into the monsters, slaying them while in mid-air! "OH ITS ON!" I yelled while spinning with my sword out killing all the monsters around me.

(4 hours later)

We were all tired of monster slaying by the time we got back to the temple. "That was.. that was amazing!" Lukas said. We all basically collapsed on the couches. We were so tired. "What do we do know because, it's like 6 in the evening so it's too early to go to bed!" Petra said.

"Let's just calm down and watch a movie!" Jesse said, while turning on the TV. "I'm gonna take a nap for a while." I said. "Who takes a nap at 6 in the evening?" Petra asked. "I do!" I replied. "Wake me up in 30 minutes!" I said half asleep.

I fell almost asleep but I saw a shadow looking at us from the window. I shook it off and fell asleep.
