Prompt: TFW tries to help the reader with their addiction to Marijuana

So, yeah I'm aware that a lot of people smoke pot and I am in no way shaming anyone for it. I am also aware that many don't think weed has long term effects but it does cause memory loss problems, paranoia, hallucinations, etc. This might not be the case for everyone, as seen in this one shot, but please be safe and careful when using such substances.

And yes, long-term use of this substance, especially started in adolescence years, can cause it to become an addiction, contrary to popular belief.

B/S: Brother or Sister

B/S/N: Brother or Sister's name

Requests are open.

Age 16

It wasn't hard to get ahold of illegal substances in the world of being a hunter, not as hard as it had been when you were a kid. Originally, it began when you were in high school, sophomore year to be exact. Your (b/s), (b/s/n), had introduced you to the world of pot after (he/she) caught you having a terrible panic attack.
At first, it started off calm, you'd only smoke after, during, or when you were about to have an attack, it calmed you down and made it easier. The drug would fill your lungs, cloud your head, and you would no longer be able to think or feel just one certain thing. Thus making you no longer have said attack.
As you grew older, your habit became an addiction and you found yourself smoking more and more often. Growing up in a hunter's life made things stressful, constantly being the new kid in high school made it worse. Soon, by the age of nineteen, your panic attacks had almost gone away, replaced by the green bud wrapped with white paper. No one in your family knew about it, not that they would care anyway. (B/S/N) had died on a hunt when you were fifteen since then your father beat you and your mother.
Not long after, your mother died from one of his beatings and he killed himself, leaving you alone in a dark world with dark thoughts. The day you met the Winchesters had been the happiest of your life. Now, years later, you found yourself sitting outside the bunker on an old tire swing you convinced Sam and Dean to put up. It was late, a little past midnight and today had been one of the most stressful in a while. Not only did Sam and Dean get into another argument, but this time you had gotten involved in it too.

"What were you thinking, (y/n)?! You could have gotten all of us killed!" Dean yelled at you as you, him, and Sammy walked into the bunker after a hunt.
It was a pack of werewolves and they had outnumbered you all, ten to three. It came down to three against six and after killing one of the mutts, you'd seen the others overpowering Sam and Dean. Knowing that the two couldn't handle all five alone, you thought of a plan, granted it wasn't the smartest one. Hurriedly, you grabbed a half-empty bottle of beer and poured it onto the floor, taking out your lighter and setting the fluid alight. It didn't occur to you that it was mid-summer and that you were all in a cabin. Soon, everything was going into flames.

You and the two Winchesters managed to escape, though your left forearm had a nasty burn along with Sam's shoulder thanks to falling debris. Despite you saving him and his brother's life, Dean yelled at you the entire car ride home and even after you all were inside the bunker, saying how stupid you had been.

"You can't do anything right, can you?!" You knew Dean was just angry because Sam had gotten hurt, but that didn't give him the right to scream in your face. Sam knew you were only helping and tried to take up for you, leading to him and Dean getting into it as well.
