I Just Love You!

Will and Nico sat on the porch of the infirmity, holding hands and cuddled up against each other. Campers passing by didn't bat an eye at the unlikely pair.

Will sighed as he looked down at their entwined fingers feeling happy but extreme anxiety. "Nico... do...you like, like me?" He asks moving his gaze to look up to the boy resting his head upon his own. Nico moved so Will could look at him and actually smilled.

"I wouldn't be sitting here if I wasn't dummy." Nico replys poking Will's nose with his free hand.

"But you and I were--ARE so different from each other." Will presses gripping Nico's hand tighter as if he would suddenly vanish.

"Will... do you breath oxygen?" Nico asked getting a confused look from Will.

"What kind of question is that?" Will demands thinking he was getting made fun of.

Nico on the other hand was trying to make a point. "Will we're not that different, we like each other, we feel comfortable with one another, and we comfort each other when the other is feeling insecure." Nico says patting Will's cheeks. "I love you Will and not anyone or anything can change that."

Will grew a blush through Nico's whole confession and felt immensely happier than before. "I'm sorry Nico I didn't mean anything by it I was just... I don't know worried. We're demigods, we know that tomorrow isn't promised and I'm just so scared of losing you."

Nico laughed and pulled Will close for a hug. "You can't shake a shadow Solace."

Will's smile widdened. And he held tightly to Nico's aviator jacket.

"Let's go swimming!" Will suggested wriggling out of Nico's hold and standing up. He held out his hand to Nico who was still sitting and looking warily at him. "Come on it'll be fun." Will coos as Nico takes his hand and stands up.

The two boys walk hand in hand to the waters edge and decided to set up their base behind two large trees. Discarding their jackets, shirts, shoes, and pants and left in only their boxers they jumped into the cold water with a splash. Will surfaced happily while Nico surfaced with a grimace. "It's so cold." He complained swimming closer to Will who shook his head and welcomed the affection.

"Stop exaggerating you're the Ghost King remember." Will said as they kept close but still had to remember to keep afloat.

"Yeah I remember, but when I'm with you... I just..." Nico began to stutter and chose his words and Will suddenly registered this as Nico's second confession. The blonde boy's face turned a deep red as he watched his boyfriend blush and concentrate his eyes on the water between them,
"I just don't mind all that when I'm with you." Nico kissed the top of Will's head.

The two boys spent the rest of the day  swimming and living life to the fullest together.
