CHAPTER 3
The Pandora's Box
_________________________________________

Blaire's POV

I ran towards the guy who took my wallet, and the moment I got close to him, I held his arm and turned him around to face me.

But what I didn't expect is that the guy who took my wallet was apparently none other than Breaker Saavedra.

What a lucky day.

I looked at his hands that were both holding my wallet.

"You? How could you do this?" I asked in dismay and disbelief. And what infuriated me even more is how he's looking all nonchalant about this matter.

"Beats me. I don't know either. I don't even know what I did." He replied with such expression that resembles that of Cillian Murphy's.

I gasped in disbelief. How could he be so obnoxious!

"You took my wallet." I stressed.

"Oh, so this is yours?" He asked as if he just found out.

"Yes, and you took it." I retorted.

"I didn't." He calmly objected.

"Then why are you holding it?" I asked with my left brow raised.

"I don't know either."

Now that's it! He's tested my patience!

"Breaker!" I lashed out.

"What?" He asked, finally showing emotions. Only that, it's annoyance.

"Can you please stop doing pranks on me?" I pleaded with so much infuriation.

"Trust me, I'm not doing anything, and I didn't do anything." He defended.

I closed my eyes and took a few deep breaths to calm my self down.

"You're already caught in the act. How could you be so shameless trying to deny what's obvious?" I asked incredulously.

"I'm not being shameless denying anything because I didn't do anything."

"You're holding my wallet right now!"

"Come on! I didn't even know how this wallet got into--" he stilled and looked at me.

"What?" I asked in annoyance.

"How did you lose this?" He asked, and my brows furrowed further.

"Well, you took it. Obviously." I replied, and he released a deep breath indicating his frustration.

Seriously? I'm the one who should be annoyed right now.

"Did you see who took it." He asked again.

"Yeah. It's you. A guy wearing a black hoody." I replied.

"So you didn't see the face?" He asked, which caught me off guard.

"Excuse me?" This guy is unbelievable.

"Well, you're basically accusing me just because I'm wearing the same clothes as the real thief. But listen, some guy wearing a hoody just passed by, running. He's the one who threw this wallet to me." He said, which left me in shock.
