Chapter 1;-Awkward encounters

It all started with a "concert" I quote concert because technically it wasn't a concert, it was just a band of teenagers singing into a mic at some human parents garage while a bunch of hormonal kids cheered them on.What on earth has this world come to?? anyway let's get into the story shall we?

Steven and I were in the lounge,I was sitting on the floor with my legs crossed while Steven slouched against the couch on the floor.

We were currently trying to figure out a complicated puzzle laid out on the table in front of us.

Friday nights was my favorite time of the week because Steven and I always spent quality time solving the puzzle bit by bit! even thinking about it makes me excited!.

We were in the middle of putting the puzzle together when Amethyst comes barging through the door lightly shaking the table with her

"Amethyst" I say in my usual warning tone "you need to be more careful" I stress out the word careful

"Do you mind not bumping the table?,thank you" Steven adds on,amethyst apologizes "sorry I just got excited" she explains

 "Steven!,are you ready?" Amethyst looks at him expectingly "hey amethyst!,how's it going?" he replys in a cheerful high pitch voice,

he's such a cutie he reminds me so much of rose *sigh* but there was a purpose behind everything she did even if I didn't fully understand,

but if I was being completely honest with myself I know it wouldn't take a lot for her to convince me.

I'd gladly follow her even if,blindly.I scowl myself for being a hopeless pushover,but she has always had that effect on me,I think secretly she knew about my undying and unconditional love for her.

I didnt need to tell anyone in that sense but it wasn't exactly a shocker, the crystal gems knew too but never dared saying something about it.

"Yeah,yeah" Amethyst rolls her eyes but nonetheless smiles "you ready bud?,we gotta go quick before we're late" oh my god what trouble is she getting him into now.

First the whole wrestling Ghanaian now whats next? is she going to take him out raving? she's starting to become a bad influence on Steven I think to myself.

"Huh,go where? we were having so much fun putting the puzzles toget-" I pout amethyst refrains herself from laughing

"me and Steven over there are going to his first ever rock concert!" She says starry eyed with that slight hint of huskyness lacing her voice she's  well known for.

"I was going to go with Greg but he's out somewhere playing cards with old dudes" she says disappointed.

Im not really sure where everyone else was we all sorta just do our own thing now and again.

Steven ponders "about that ... I was just wondering if pearl could come!,it'd be so much fun if pearl was there!" 

Amethysts' loud laugh booms throughout the room like she just heard the funniest thing ever,my cheeks turn pink

"what's so funny?!" I say fuming Amethyst wipes her tears away "sorry P I just never pegged you as the fun rocker chick type your more of the stay home knitting type"

she says coming down from her laughing fit "what? I-I can be fun" my cheeks turn red in embarrassment as I unconsciously advert my eyes from Amethyst.

"look I found the sky peice!" my attention lands on Steven he beams and high fives me I gladly high five him back.

"Yes!,I was looking for that puzzle peice forever,well done Steven!" I praise him.Amethyst looks at me with disbelief at Steven and ours encounter.
