Chapter 3-Party

Steven looks out at the party with a stun sound and points in some direction "there's the mystery girl!."

I quickly look in the direction he pointed at,and see her with her long pink hair and green eyes looking down at her phone with a hand on her hip.

She has a frown on her face I was instantly frozen on the spot "she's actually here" Steven says shocked I wonder why she looks so sad.

"No way" Amethyst says startled seeing her sad made me wanna check up on her on instinct "I'm gonna go talk to her" I say confidently Steven instantly smiled.

Where as Amethyst looks at me nervously like I said the wrong thing "look Pearl,I already think your cool and I know where this is headed" she says concerned.

I frown "You can easily ease into the whole socializing thing" my eyes narrow but I smile knowingly she's just trying to look out for me I look at the direction of the mysterious girl.

Mystery girl was tapping away at her phone clearly not happy with whatever was on her phone,this could be my only chance I might never see her again I thought to myself.

I turn towards Amethyst "watch Steven for me" I turn towards the pink haired beaut and slowly walk towards her Amethyst looks at me shocked I can feel her eyes at the back of my head.

"Wait" she cups her hands to her mouth trying to make her voice sound louder "no you'll get smaller,go talk to a nerd" trying to get my attention.

"Amethyst!" Steven says disappointed I hear a hit from behind me followed by Amethysts "ow!" I continue towards this beautiful girl who was still looking down at her phone.

I feel my chest get heavier as I finally make my way in front of her she looks so pretty I think to myself knowing me I couldn't trust myself to speak.

So instead I hold out my hand in front of her hoping she'd take it,sensing my presence she looks up from her phone to my hand with the frown still on her face which made me wonder who was responsible for making her sad.

She then looks up from my hand to my face when she saw my face she instantly smiled which turned into a amused one I suddenly felt more at ease.

I smiled none the less she takes my hand and shakes it with a toothy smile she then sweeps her hair to one side just that swift move captivated me

Keep your cool Pearl I say internally she crosses her arms with her phone tucked under her armpit declaring that I had her full attention.

We talked for a while exchanged a few jokes here and there talked about random things she even talked about how she dyed her hair which intrigued me.

now and again I'd get caught up in her beautiful green orbs that seemed to look into my soul shed catch me staring I'd blush and look away

and we'd  continue to have casual conversation like nothing happened,she gives me that knowing look again

as if she knew something I didn't.She doesn't say anything instead she writes something down on a piece of paper and hands it to me I look down at it

What is this I ask myself,some sort of cipher code? I thought to myself.That must be what it is,"what is this-" I look up and she's gone.

I stood there confused,where'd she go? maybe she didn't like me after all I walk back to where Amethyst and Steven stood disappointed

They were quietly whispering to each other,Amethyst sees me and they both stoped whispering to eachother

"Soooo,Pearl how'd it go?"Amethysts giggles "Great,everything was great up to the point where she gave me this" I show Steven and Amethyst the paper she had given me.

Amethyst looks from the paper to Steven enthusiastically who's eyes lit up "It looks like some sort of Morse code" I frown voicing my opinion to them.

"I guess she wasn't interested" I say Amethyst face palms herself,Steven on the other hand jumps up and down "that's not a code pearl,its a phone number."

He has a big smile on his face "She wants you to call her" Amethyst nods her head in agreement I look at them both confused.

"I do not own a phone" I rub my chin,I look at the small piece of paper with a small smile and look up at the stars, this must be destiny.

Ew so cheesy haha,sorry if this chapters too short for you,ill make it up to you in the next one,I ran out of ideas lol but the next chapter will be longer I promise =*...
