Alex? How could he be here? How did he know? I can't believe it's him! We'll I can. He sent that text. I looked around to see if he had a weapon. He didn't. No knives, no guns, no poison. Nothing. I walked onto the shore and stared at him. My arm crossed the other and I got ready to fight. If Jack and Jeff see this, they will definatly never let me leave the house!!
"What are you doing here?" I asked him. I swear if he tries anything I am going to drown his sorry butt!
"I came to make a deal with you. You killed the girl I loved and now it is my time to return the favor but with a little twist." Okay, so he was in love with Gale. That is a good reason to help her kill me, I guess.
"How are you going to do that?" What did he mean about that?
"I am such a good person, don't you think? Did you know my great great father died in jail? It was a scedualed death, long death at that." I got tired of his story.
"Tell me where this is going?"
"Well, your boyfriend and your little friend are going to die if you don't follow my direction. I won't kill you myself but you should get where this is going."
"huh" I sighed. " Let me get this straight. You want me to turn myself in to the police and die in jail. If I don't you are going to kill Jeff and Jack?" Alex nodded. "How do I know that if I do turn myself in, you won't go after the boys?"
he thought about it for a minute and finally said, "You don't, but you should trust I won't."
Laugh escaped my lips. " You would be the last person I would trust!" A sound made me stop laughing. Alex and I both turned towards the noise. It sounded like Jeff and Jack laughing so I looked at Alex again. "You have to go. Now."
He headed and turned to leave but stopped, "Don't think you are getting rid of me. Ill be back soon enough. Text the number when you figure out what you are doing. Your life or theirs. " And he left. just as Jack and Jeff showed up.
"Hey! Why aren't you in the water?" Jack asked with a huge smile.
I shrugged. "I just got a bit cold, I am going to just, um tan for a while. I am too pale. Go, have fun. " They shrugged and ran to the water. I slumped down into the warm sand and sighed. What could I do? What should I do? Hiding the boys will not work. Alex will follow. Killing him won't work. There is absolutly no way I could escape the boys and kill him without being caught by the police. There is only one thing I can do. I must turn myself in.
