My Life is Far from Free

Chapter 6

The day was getting long and I was very greatful when lunch came along. Alex found me by my locker and grabbed my arm towards him. I nearly dropped everything but was able to lock the books and papers in my locker before he grabbed me. I fell backwards and he caught my waist. He held me tightly and smiled at me "Come on! I want you to meet my friends"

I smiled back "Don't you think you are being a little too friendly for a new girl?" That made him blush. He looked me straight in my eyes and said, "I don't know, there is something about you. " He got lost in my eyes and I realised he was still holding on to me tight. I pushed away from him and saw he was still looking at me like a lost puppy. His green eyes stared into mine with so much lust. He reached out and brushed my cheak. "Why don't we meet during seventh period behind the locker rooms?" Alex asked slyly. He obviously didn't care about ditching class. There was a hint in his voice that told me he wouldn't be showing more of the school anytime soon and I smiled. "Absolutley!"  He kissed my lips softly and  slowly pulled away leaving me wanting more. "That was a preview for what is going to happen later on" He whispered. "But for right now, its time to meet my friends!" His attitude sprang up so fast it mad me laugh. He grabbed my arm and pulled me. I laughed letting him lead me to the cafeteria. People stared at ,me, maybe because i was the new girl or I was being pulled by this guy. "I heard she slept with three guys in one day" A girl whispered to her friends. She wasn't very good at whispering  but even though it wasn't true I llet the rumors spread. People can think all they want of me, I don't care.

"Hey, guys! This is Chris." Alex greeted me to his friends. I smiled but didn't say a word. "I figured she can sit with us at lunch. Is that alright with you guys?"  They all nodded and we sat down.

"Im Emma" said a blonde. She  was skinny and wore a short ACDC t-shirt. Her eyes were brown and had a ton of make up on.

"Im Derek and that is Piper." A boy with brown hair waved and pointed to a short red head on his lap. She was very pretty, Her eyes were the perfect shade of light blue and her skin was so tan. She was focused on Derek but she still had time to wave. I waved back and they returned to making out.

"Don't worry about them" whispered Alex. "They are always doing that. You can hardly get them to stop. You must be special for them to have stopped for that long" I laughed. "That was a long time?" I asked and he nodded. I smiled at him and he reached for my hand. I pulled it back before he could grab it and he looked at me confused. "You have to wait for seventh period." He smiled at m comment and leaned in for my ear and whispered. "I can't wait!" 

Alex was just a nice guy who wantedd what all guys wanted. Although I am just a new girl here i figured I could have some fun here with him.

The bell rang and everyone started running for their next class. I had free period and I told my friends I would go see them but my meeting with Gale pissed me off. I didn't want to see them so I texdted them saying I wouldn't be able to show up.

I walked through the halls trying to time but I was getting bored. I decided that I would go to the library. Walking in that direction I saw Jeff teaching  a class of freshman and I laughed. No one was listening to him and he looked like he was about to scream. I walked into his class and everyone looked at me and stopped talking. Great, more spotlight.

"Hey guys! Are you guys listening to the teacher?" They started laughing and I did too. No kid wants to listen to a teacher!  I looked at Jeff and he stared in amazement that I could get the kids to calm down. "I am trying to get them to play dodge ball." He said calmly. I smiled and walked up to a small kid and handed him a ball.

"You know how to aim right?" the boy nodded and I continued.

"Okay, so what you need to do" I spoke loudly so everyone could here me  clearly. "Is aim for the other team and shoot. If you hit them, they are out." I walked back to the little boy and leaned into his ear whispering so no one could understand what I was saying. I saw a wide smile forming on the boys face and I stepped back. Following my orders, the boy threw the ball at Jeff and it hit. "Ow! oh your going to pay for that Chris!" He smiled and picked up a ball. every kid decided to be on my team or his and we started playing. Jeff threw a ball and it came close to hitting me, I dodged it. He was probably taking it easy because if he clearly was able to hit me if he wasn't. I looked around for a ball and the boy from before handed me one. I smiled and thanked him, he nodded and I took off;. I threw the ball with all my stregnth and it hit! Jeff fell to his knees as the ball hit him right in the gut.  I gasped and ran over to him.

"TRAITOR!" the boy yelled and threw a ball at me. Then everyone started joining and Jeff pulled me to the floor. "Get her!" he screamed. I got a bunch of balls thrown to my stomach and it hurt. They could throw!  soon everyone was done. Thay all layed on the ground just quietly talking. A hand came down and i grabbed it letting it pull me up.

I looked at who it was and Jeff smiled back at me. "Thank you" he said. "You need to go to your next class " I rolled my eyes. I walked out the gym and i was pretty sure i had gotten at least three bruises from playing wih them, it really hurt.
