Madi POV
"What?! No. Just no. There is no way Caitlin would do anything like that. How do you even know?!" I didn't like to yell at him. I already felt stressed and upset, and then he told me this?! I just couldn't believe it.
"Babe, calm down. I promise I am telling you the truth. She came home last night for the first time in weeks, covered in dirt and sweat. And i could tell by her eyes that she was guilty of something. I would never lie about something like this." Christian looked me in the eyes, and I could tell he was telling us the truth. But something bugged me....
"Wait...I thought you said the reason she was never around was because of her new boyfriend?" I asked, suspiciously.
"Well...I made that up. BUT only because even I had no idea where she was. And I didn't want to stress you out even more--" He stopped himself. I knew what he was about to say though.
"Why are you stressed?" Justin asked.
I gave Christian a look like 'we might as well tell them.' He nodded and I said, "Well, we sort of have big news."
"What is it?' Justin asked curiously.
Jessica had this knowing look, but she didn't say anything.
"Well...I'm pregnant." i smiled tentatively at them, hoping they weren't going to get mad.
"NO WAY?!? Congrats man!! Madi, you are going to be an amazing mom. I love you both...aww come here!!!" Justin says, and gets up ang hugs both of us. I COULDN'T BREATH.
"Just...you might...wanna let...go now." I said, gasping for breath.
"Oh...right. Sorry, i'm just so happy for you guys!" He had this huge smile on his face.
Jessica was being awfully quiet. i didn't want her to be mad with me...we may not be the greatest friends yet, but there is excellent potential there, and i didn't want this to ruin that opportunity. She looked up at me and smiled.
"I'm really happy for you guys. There couldn't be anyone who deserved this more." She gets up and gives me a hug.
'Thanks guys. It really means a lot. And Jessica, I'm so glad you support us. I need a girl friend in all this mess." I laughed..and then began to cry.
It was so overwhelming. I knew Christian was going to be a phenomenal father, and Justin would be an excellent uncle...I was so happy right here in this moment. I knew we all had nowhere to go but up at this point.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt? Did you feel it kick? Do you need anything?" Christian immediately got up, and started rambling off questions. Did I mention he would make an extroardinary dad?
"I'm fine. No, I didn't feel it kick. I'm just so happy. Happy that you guys support us, and happy that you are the father of my child." I sniffed and then added, "i wouldn't mind some pickles though, now that I think about it."
Everyone looks at me and laughs. "Pickles coming right up." Christian smiled his amazing smile, and went to the kitchen to get me some pickles.
I could hear him talking to Diane. She asked him what he needed pickles for. "For my beautiful girl." He responded. I loved him so much. He came back 2 minutes later with a jar of pickles. He had even opened it for me, what a gentleman.
"Thanks, babe.' I said, blowing him a kiss. He pretended to catch it and put his hand to his cheek.
"Okay. That is one of the cutest things i have ever seen." Jessica said.
"I try." Christian said, jokingly.
We all laughed, and got up. "Wanna go to the mall?" I asked.
"Sure."
