When Reality Hits

Elsa's POV

I was in Hiccup's car. He was dropping me, Anna, Jack and Jamie school. "Hic, talk to him" I said. "I will Elsa" He said. We reached his apartment. "Hey, guys" Jack said. And so did Jamie.

"How you doing, Jack?" Hiccup asked. "Terrible... I don't know but Jamie's teacher has called me" He said. "You did something, Jamie?" Anna asked. "No." Jamie said. "Well, then we have to wait" I said.

We reached Jamie's school. "Guys, you could wait... I'll be here in a moment" I said and went in with Jamie. "J-Jack, I am going to my class. You can meet my teacher" He said. I nodded and left his hand.

I went to her teacher. "Ms. Shelly?" I asked. She looked at me. "You're Jamie Frost's brother, right?" She asked. I nodded. "I have some serious things to talk about" She said. "Have a seat" I sat infront of her.

"Do you work in a bar?" She asked unsure. How does she know? And even if she does, Why is she asking about it? "Um y-yeah.. I work as a waiter in a bar" I said. "Jack, There are some you know, um high class kids, who bully Jamie" She said. My head started spinning. Bully?

"W-what do you mean?" I asked. "Well, you know, they know certain stuff and they have made an really inappropriate image about you" She said. "Like?" I asked. "How do I say this? Um- like a call boy?" She said still unsure. "What does it has to do with Jamie being bullied?" I asked. "They say rather inappropriate things to him and Jamie would protest, that you are not like that but then they would say stuff and he would end up crying. I found him crying yesterday." She said. "T-thank you, Mam. I'll talk to him" My eyes were stinging. God! "You're welcome, Jack" She said standing up. I picked up my shool bag and slung it over my shoulder walking out. But then I saw Jamie. "Hey, Frosty. How's your h** brother?" The guys were actually older than him but they were still kids. How do they even know that word?

"What's h**?" Jamie asked innocently. "Jamie! It's a bad word!" I shouted. All the boys turned to me. "Harrison?" I heard Hiccup's voice. "He's Hans' brother" Hiccup told me. "Oh! Hans!" I exclaimed. Now, I know how he knows me. "You were late so we came in... But this is a different story. Lemme meet your dad later" Hiccup said.

Hiccup pulled me and Jamie both with him. He called some guy. "Hello? Mr. Johnson?" He was talking on the Bluetooth. "Our deal? It's cancelled. Done. I'm not doing business with you" and hung up. "Who was that?" Elsa asked. "Hans and Harrison's father" He said. I gaped. "You just cancelled your deal!" I said. "How much was it of?" She asked. "100 crore?" He said. I gaped. "I can't believe it" I muttered. Jamie was crying in my arms. After that Hiccup's phone was continuously buzzing. We didn't go to school.

He dropped me and Jamie home. I put Jamie to sleep and did something that I thought I would never do.

Elsa's POV

I and Anna both were at Hiccup's place. "Poor guy" I muttered. "I don't understand why people do this" Anna said. But suddenly I felt a pain in my arm. "Ah!" I shouted and kneeled on the floor. Anna quickly rushed to me. "Elsa?!" "Jack... quick" I managed to say.

They quickly got in the car and we drove to his apartment. Hiccup rushed upstairs and broke the door. "Jack!" He shouted. "Jack where re you?!" He shouted. Running towards each room and then at last the bathroom.

What he saw was terrible. There was a pool of blood under him and his wrists had cuts. "Jack, what were you trying to do?" Hiccup shouted. "I- I" his voice was shaking. "What the hell?!" Hiccup shouted. "Anna, his neughbour's a doctor let's check if she's home" I said and went to the dentist woman's door. I knocked the door. "Elsa, right?" She asked opening the door. "Hello, mam, can you please help us?" I asked. "What happened?" She asked and we told her the whole story.

She rushed with us and checked on Jack. I could feel the pain and mix of emotions he was feeling. Hate, anger, shame, cowardice, defeat and several more. "Jack, how could you?" I said but it was barely a whisper. He looked up. "I'm sorry" He said in a broken voice. Toothiana, as I came to know her name mended his wounds and also scolded him.

"Jack, you're not gonna work in that bar anymore" Hiccup said. "But then-" "you'll work for me" He said. Hiccup was dead serious. "I don't have any qualifications to work for you" Jack said. And it was true. How is he gonna work for him? "You have." Hiccup said and everyone just sat there looking at him what? Then it hit me.

"Jack, you're gonna post 2 videos a month on YouTube and I'll give 10 times more money than what you.were getting right now" He said. "But-" "Shut up! You are! Don't you see even Jamie doesn't want you to work there!" He shouted. "Jack, you have such a beautiful potential. You should use it" I said and he stared down.

I walked to him putting my hand on his shoulder. "You know what Bible says about it? 'Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards in the presence of God' You have to do what you need to do. Then leave everything to God. It's his plan. He leads you." I said calmly.

"What you're thinking is the loud noise of Devil. Who's trying to keep you from moving away from that sinful place. But wait, pray, try and believe. Then you could hear the soft voice of God leading you somewhere" I said and stood up. "Then it's upto you. Think we'll come back in the evening with Kristoff" I said. I hope something good happens...
