Fools who Rush In 2 (Austin and Ally )

Surfs up ( chapter 13)

Austin and Ally made their way to the airport to pick up her 13 year old brother Cody. It would be Austin's first time seeing him in 5 years

" he isn't that bratty eight year old anymore.. puberty hit him like a truck.. he's taller than me.. that's a lot because I'm pretty short.." Ally said

As they cruised down the high way with the roof top down

" you're shorter than everyone.. shortie.. I mean who isn't taller than you are?" He asked

" you're an actual asshole.." She mustered adjusting her sunglasses

" well who said I was nice?" He smiled at her through his sunglasses

She turned up the music putting her feet up he puts his hand on her leg

She leaned back " what a beautiful day.."

" no kidding.." he agreed " feels like a beach day, since I have nothing planned for the first time, I could actually go surfing"

" take him with you, I'm pretty sure he'd like that" she said

" I don't see why not" he said

She put her hand on his hand that held her leg

" Cody is super excited about being here.. he's changed so much, he's in junior high.. and soon he'll be 14 years old going to high school .. he's on the swim team, track team.. you guys would get along, since you two like sports" she smiled

" can't wait.." he said as his hair blew in the wind

" he knows we're back together right?" Austin asked

" uhhh sure" She said

He looked at her response strangely

" does anyone know? Besides people you work with? Not your family? I told mine!" He said " first thing I did!"

" ... I didn't get the time too.." she said

" Ally!" He said

" I'll tell them." She said softly

" sure" he said taking his hand back " I don't get why you didn't"

" because Austin.." she began

" forget it" he said

The rest of 20 minute ride was excruciatingly silent

They got out waiting at the gate for Cody

" he said he was here!!" Ally said looking around

a tall brace faced boy walked towards Ally's direction picked her up from behind

" Aaah!!" She screamed out

The boy places her down

" Cody!" Ally turned around and hugs her brother

" hey sis!!" Cody said

" aw your voice!" Ally said " I'm so happy to see you" she hugged him " I missed you, you brat"

" I missed you too sis!" Cody said

She let go " hey you remember Austin"

Cody looked at Austin " this dude? How could I forget?"

" nice seeing you again too" Austin said sensing her little brothers coldness

They got into the car

" so how was the flight?" Ally looks back

" good" Cody said
